Bought a 2018 Kia Forte from another dealer in Mesa last summer. The trunk release by the driver seat has never worked. Only way to open the trunk was using the key fob. Last week I went to close the trunk and it would not close. Something was now wrong with the latch. I called Horne Kia and they were able to give me an appointment the next day. Their service department was awesome! Many thanks to Josh Kirby, my service advisor. Helpful, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to see that everything was taken care of. The trunk release, inside trunk release, and a recall issue were all taken care of. Left with my car clean and everything taken care of. If you need service at Horne Kia, ask for Josh! More

BAIT AND SWITCH!! I went in to buy a car I found advertised online for a certain price. They would not sell me the car for that price! Instead, they tried to make me pay about $1400 more because o advertised online for a certain price. They would not sell me the car for that price! Instead, they tried to make me pay about $1400 more because of "dealer ad-on" items that you can't verify they even did, like "paint protection". Don't advertise the "price" of the car if you won't sell it for that! On top of that, I came in already pre-approved with my own financing. Then they tried to talk me into their financing which was a full percentage point higher than what I was already approved for! When I asked for the managers name who would not honor the internet advertised price, they refused to give it to me. So I was forced to mark all sales dept. with 1 star because it won't let me submit a review without picking one. Waste of time! #shady #rundontwalkaway More
I wanted to purchase a new Kia Niro. I requested a straightforward and fair transaction but it went south quickly. Here are the exorbitant charges this dealership expected me to pay. $899 for paint protectant $299 for VTR (I think this is for superfluous window etching) $699 for windows tinting $199 for floor mats $299 for VIP dent/ding Plus your standard doc fee. Not sure if "government fees" is standard but that is another almost $800. Then you have the taxes. I went with Carvana since that is more straightforward and I know what to expect. Horne Kia lost a buyer who had cash in hand and was ready to purchase. More
Poor customer service, tried to email about a car and got no response after two tries. Called twice and ask to try and work numbers and was told "We don't talk numbers over the phone" then he immediately hun no response after two tries. So after 4 attempts to purchase a car from them I am glad it turned out to be horrible and would never look here again. More
My wife bought a car from Horne Kia several years ago. When she returned to the dealership to try to sell it back -- something that a Horne salesperson had tried to get her to do for over a year -- she wa When she returned to the dealership to try to sell it back -- something that a Horne salesperson had tried to get her to do for over a year -- she was informed that she would be offered well below the market value for the car, since it had been in an accident (with frame damage) before she purchased it. This information was not disclosed to us before she bought the vehicle. You're not required to disclose accident info in Arizona, and we should have checked the vehicle history on our own -- but the lack of transparency is shady at best, and dangerous at worst. If you're in the market for a Kia, we'd highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. More

They were unwilling to budge even a penny and just wanted to start the loan application. They didn't want to do any negotiating at all. The man kept well you know cars are on shortage if you go to any lot you'll see they barely have cars.(like sir there are a lot of car lots near you I could go to those lots) He kept saying well new cars don't have chips now and this car had a chip. However, she was not moving from that 18 thousand car. So I left because it was not the car I absolutely wanted and they were unwilling to even negotiate. The person I was speaking with online emailed me and said to come back in and we could talk but I already went in and was told no. Why would I drive back to be told no again when they keep saying their own internet price was wrong. They have bad service and need to fix the price if its not the correct price. The person who took me on the test drive was fairly new and was really sweet, but clearly didn't know what he was doing because he had to continuous go talk to someone and it seemed as he was just repeating versus just knowing what he was talking about.
