We called a few minutes before arriving to verify if the car was still on lot. We were told it was and that Donald answered the phone. When we arrived, Donald was busy, so we waited. Once done, he came o car was still on lot. We were told it was and that Donald answered the phone. When we arrived, Donald was busy, so we waited. Once done, he came over, but did not talk with us on the phone. Someone just gave his name. Then on top of that the car we wanted to look at not even on lot. It was a scheme to get us to the dealership, what a waste of time. Typical sales BS- that gives all sales people bad names, very unethical, try to avoid at all costs. More
We found a truck on the Suzuki of McKinney website that we liked. The price was perfect and the truck looked to be in excellent shape. We live 2 1/2 hours from the dealership so I called the day we drove d we liked. The price was perfect and the truck looked to be in excellent shape. We live 2 1/2 hours from the dealership so I called the day we drove down to make sure that they had the truck that we were looking at, and another one that we were interested in. The salesman said that they had the trucks and to come on down. We drove the long drive and when we showed up neither one of the trucks was in sight in the lot. A different salesman than the one that I originally talked to came out and said that he had not seen the trucks in the last week. I was astonished. No one could give me any answers as to where the trucks were, when they had left the lot, or when they would be back. I was steamed. I had called ahead and made the long drive to come home with a new truck no one had any idea what had happened to them! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP OR ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH THEM. They have wasted my time and my money with their carelessness and disregard. TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AT THIS PLACE. Also, they only had 1/4 of the vehicles that are advertised on their website, the phone number was WRONG, and descriptions did not match the vehicles. More
Beware! Classic Bait & Switch! I found a vehicle Beware! Classic Bait & Switch! I found a vehicle listed on their website at a great price. I sent an email to them since I was looking after hours Beware! Classic Bait & Switch! I found a vehicle listed on their website at a great price. I sent an email to them since I was looking after hours. The next morning "Doug" called and said they had the vehicle, and I gave him my vehicle information and payoff, and he said it sounded like they could get close to that. I informed him that I was coming from a long distance, and would be willing to put a hold on the vehicle, but he said that they don't do that after being burned on that, which I can understand. On my way down, I called again, but he was "out of the office", but the receptionist took my information and said he would call back. (He never called back) I drove 5 hours to get there, and met one salesman outside, and he's like, oh, I think that went to auction. Auction?? wtf, He told me this morning it was there. Then they changed their story saying it sold that afternoon. Oh, but they have another vehicle there for twice the price they would show me. No thanks. I ended up finding what I was looking for at Bob Tomes Ford across the street & south a little. Surprisingly close to where my GPS told me where Suzuki Cars would have been. More
I saw a used 2006 Mazda Miata for sale at Suzuki Cars of McKinney on the internet and was interested in buying it. I called the dealership @ 214-544-0102 and spoke to a salesman who confirmed that they had McKinney on the internet and was interested in buying it. I called the dealership @ 214-544-0102 and spoke to a salesman who confirmed that they had the car in question. I told him that I was very interested in buying the car and asked him what I needed to do to purchase it. I also told him I had a car that I might want to trade in and gave him a description of it and he said he would call me back when he would give me a ballpark price of what it would be worth. I am from Michigan and could possibly drive it to Texas and trade it in on the Mazda and drive the Mazda back to Michigan. I waited for him to return my call but after two hours I called back and was told he would call me back when he got back from a "late" lunch. At that point I was told that it was Doug that would return my call. An hour or so later , after waiting around for his call and thinking that flying down to get the car would be better than driving my old one down to trade it in, I called again and asked to speak to Doug. When he answered I figured out that Doug was not the one I had talked to but I did not know the salesman's name. I briefly explained that I had called earlier about the 2006 Mazda and Doug said "it is off the market". I asked how that could be when I had been trying to work out the purchase of it but that my call had not been returned as promised. Doug basically said that he needn't explain anything and that I should just accept that the car was no longer for sale. He then tried to tell me that I hadn't called earlier and I assured him I had called the same number and had talked to a salesman at Suzuki Cars of McKinney. I still insisted that I get an explanation of why the car was no longer for sale. I had invested a great deal of time in pursuing the purchase of the car that was listed for sale and now, with no decent explanation, told to forget it. I let Doug know that this was not a good way to carry on a business and that the 4 star rating his business was given certainly wasn't reflected in my dealing with him. He asked me why I was so "hateful" and would "threaten" him with letting the rating system know of my experience. Well, this was my experience and it was dissappointing and I think a 4 star rating should be reconsidered. Thank you for hearing my experience. Jim Veldman, Sawyer, MI More
I found a car on the internet, inquired about its availability. Received a email and phone call stating that the car was there and when would you like to come see it. I told them Friday (good Friday) availability. Received a email and phone call stating that the car was there and when would you like to come see it. I told them Friday (good Friday) I also told him I was coming from Houston to McKinney Tx, 4.5hr drive, and I did not want to come see his selection I wanted the one I saw on their website. No problem. Friday morning call the dealership and ask for anybody in used cars sales, got Jose asked him about the specific car I saw on the internet and was it there, he said yes but someone took it out probably to get gas. I again told Jose that I was coming from Houston and did not want to drive up there and the car is not there. Again was told no problem he took my phone number and said he would call me if there was any problems with the car. So I took off on my drive 4.5hrs later arrived at the dealership, pulled in and looked around of course the car was not there. Was met by another salesman who I asked where the car was and he said lets go find it. Well that did not work so I asked for Jose, he came out and was puzzled as to why the car was not here. But he had another one just like it for 4000 more. I being mad about driving all this way to see a car that was not there. So I wanted to talk to a manager (Jason) he comes over and listens to my complaint but then proceeds to tell me how they have customers who say they are coming to see a car and never show up and that he does not have sympathy for me driving 4.5hrs and wasting my time. Of course he states that they do not lie to customers to get them to their dealership in order to sell them something other than what they said was there. That has never happened and he would fire the salesman right there. Judging from the reviews it looks like it might have happen quite a few time and that it is standard operating procedure to lie and cheat customer near and far. This dealership is just like alot of other ones, so to say that they are the only no I can say that. But this one cost me a days worth of wasted time away from my family. I hope this helps someone else from wasting their time on shotty business practices. More
Customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! Salesman #1 My Customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! Salesman #1 My wife called about the price of a used car that she had found online. The salesman told her m Customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! Salesman #1 My wife called about the price of a used car that she had found online. The salesman told her mileage and other information that was not consistent with what was published online. After she tried to correct him, he rudely told her that, he has been in the business for many years, he knows his cars, and she was totally wrong. She was correct, by the way. Then, I called the same salesman about the car. After a few minutes of discussion, he told me that "I was not serious about buying the car unless I drove up to see it that night.” He was very pushy and was trying to bully me into buying the car (over the phone). At this point, I didn’t want anything to do with this dealer. But, they had the exact car that we wanted, so we drove up there to look at the car a couple of days later. Salesman #2 He was a very nice guy. The car had not been washed or detailed. It also had heavy scratch in the hood (the metal was dented in). After test driving the car, we requested a CarFax report, which they did not have. He said that he would email it to us. He never did! Manager After messing around with two salesman (and getting nowhere), we decided to deal with the manager. He was indecisive about whether he was going to have the dents removed or not. We asked him to call us back when he decided. He never called. After we called him several times, the manager told us that he was going to have the dents in the hood removed and would call us back once it had returned from the shop. He never called. A couple of days later. 11:30am I called one last time and talked to Salesman #2. He said that the car was back from the shop and it was beautiful. So, I called my wife and we decided to look at the car. 11:40am I called back to set up an appt. and Salesman #2 told me that the car had sold LAST NIGHT. 11:50am I called the manager to complain about how we were treated. I didn’t care that the car sold. That’s their business, selling cars. But, we were treated horribly and I wanted the manager to know about it. We got in an argument and I hung up. More
Suzuki of Mckinney has one goal - to waste your time. I was told a vehicle was available and made the salesman aware that I was 2 hours away. He said to head their way - he'd call if the vehicle was sold. was told a vehicle was available and made the salesman aware that I was 2 hours away. He said to head their way - he'd call if the vehicle was sold. I showed up twp hours later, asked for the person I spoke to on the phone and he was paged. When I introduced myself he seemed very nervous. Instead of telling me the vehicle was already sold (and he didn't call), he pawned me off on one of his colleagues and vanished. What a f'in coward. I wasted my entire Saturday chasing a vehicle that was probably sold days before I called about it. If you'd like to waste your time, ask for Clement.... More

My problem is that when I went to talk to management they ran all sorts of interference and would not address the obvious bait and switch of this finance manager. They would not answer their messages. Hiding, no doubt under their desk. Steer clear! More
My overall experience at Suzuki Cars of McKinney was top notch. Woody helped me get exceptional financing in what would normally have been a difficult financing situation. I had been to two other Suzuki d notch. Woody helped me get exceptional financing in what would normally have been a difficult financing situation. I had been to two other Suzuki dealerships in the DFW area, and none of them were able to help me like Suzuki Cars of McKinney. I was able to buy my wife the car she wanted, and still went home with a little leftover money in my pocket :). Thanks again to the team at Suzuki Cars of McKinney! More
