Buying a car can be such a nightmare experience, but he was knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. I also worked with John Martinez, who was extremely helpful in managing the back-end paperwork and knowledgeable about extended warranty options. I had never heard of the dealership before this, but will definitely be back and would highly recommend Hopper (and Kyle/John) to anyone looking to buy a vehicle from a quality dealership. More

From Great to Bad We arrived 30 minutes prior to closing and immediately saw a car we wanted to purchase. Because it was so late the salesperson took our information an We arrived 30 minutes prior to closing and immediately saw a car we wanted to purchase. Because it was so late the salesperson took our information and we left with the understanding that we would pick up the vehicle the next day after we returned from a trip to Austin. The next morning while traveling back from Austin we had communication with the salesperson who informed us that all was good and we gave him a $500 payment via CC. A few minutes later he texted us and told us that the car had been sold to someone else. You can only imagine the disappointment that we felt. They offered us another car and took $1000 off the price. Since it was a higher priced vehicle that resulted in monthly payments beyond our monthly payment price point. The explanation given to us was that the buyer of the car that we thought we had negotiated in good faith to purchase, had purchased it via EBay and that the salesperson was not aware of it. I am a regional manager who oversee 300 customer service representatives. We are known for our processing efficiencies. A simple process fix to Hopper: if you have multiple mediums to sale a car such as EBay etc. do not enter into a transaction with a customer until you have checked all mediums to ensure that there is no pending transaction in progress. What could they have done to make things right for us? They could have sold us the second car they steered us to at the first car price. Would they have taken a loss of profit? Yes but we the customers had our price point increased beyond our allocated budget. When businesses make mistakes they should make it right at their expense not at the consumers expense. A great experience that went bad. I will end by giving kudos to the salesperson Preston who provided great customer service. More
