It felt like the classic used car salesman experience. They basically ignored everything i asked for and i felt pressured the whole time to make the purchase for a much higher price than i anticipated--in They basically ignored everything i asked for and i felt pressured the whole time to make the purchase for a much higher price than i anticipated--including financing! Then to make matters worse, the check engine and low tire pressure lights went on the day after i got my car! When i came in for them to check on it, they just reset the lights and said they couldn't find anything. I know they had to know about the tire (as well as the crappy wiper blades i had to replace), and i demanded at least a new pair. I was pretty much dismissed. i highly discourage anyone from buying from this dealership. More

On December 13, I bought a Ford Expedition Max. A beautiful vehicle. I found it online on Auto trader. I worked out the entire deal by phone and had great conversations with several people at the dealership. The first person I spoke with was Tim P. He did an amazing job. He did a full walk around vehicle and numerous pictures of every aspect of the Expedition Max. Then I was sent a video while a test drive was being done of the vehicle. I flew to Illinois and Tim picked me up at the airport in his own vehicle. When we arrived at the dealership, the Expedition was detailed and ready to go. The service I received from Tim could not have been better! I have been buying cars for nearly 55 years and I have never had the kind of personal quality service as Tim provided. He’s the exact kind of employee I would want to have working for me! Great job, Tim! I also spoke with several other people during the purchase. Adam McCarthy followed up with the sale every step of the way. Then, after I returned home, he checked up, just to make sure I was happy with the vehicle. During our conversation, I expressed to him concern about checking the front and alignment. Even though I had returned home, he took care of having the alignment checked at another Ford dealer. Once again, above and beyond! As with any car sales, there were a few issues to be worked through and the sales manager, Chris Popa, worked out each one of them beyond my expectations and satisfaction! Another great guy working at Hopkins Ford. While filling out the paperwork for the sale, by phone, Aaron Barnes help work through several issues to my complete satisfaction. Once again, another great man at the dealership! Although I live over 1000 miles from Hopkins Ford, I will definitely look at their vehicles the next time I purchase a Ford. I can’t speak highly enough of every person I spoke with at the dealership. The level of professionalism that was shown, knowledge of the vehicle, the special treatment from Tim…I think they all deserve raises! Great job to everyone at Hopkins Ford.
