I wai I made an online appointment and upon arrival, was waited on immediately. Noah was polite, professional and made suggestions for service needed. I waited in the showroom and Noah came in about halfway through to explain some of the work already performed. He also set my expectation as to how much longer I would have to wait. Once my car was completed he had it washed and vacuumed. All in all I was extremely pleased with the service and especially with Noah! More

Service is below par and over priced Took in my NSX for noise at the base of the steering column that turned out to be a simple loose part--$209 min per/hr. They then tried scare tactics Took in my NSX for noise at the base of the steering column that turned out to be a simple loose part--$209 min per/hr. They then tried scare tactics to UPSELL every other service and did not offer to use the extra time from that to complete the other services. Asked for follow up and nothing. Would probably not go back for routine work like oil change, battery, tires... as they priced themselves out of condsideration. More
Worst experience ever which was never expected at any Acura I visited Hopkins Acura on 05/30/2015, to complete the paperwork for 2016 Acura RDX. I requested for a internet quote when Pablo from Hopkins called me and I did mention that I am working with other dealership and I am just waiting on the vehicle confirmation. He mentioned he would be able to do price match and also get me the vehicle within 2 days as sister dealership have one already. But in order to get one, he would need me to complete the paperwork for which he needed me to be there. I did give him the price when he called first time and he called me back after checking with the manager that they would be able to do the price match and I was ok and didn't wanted to negotiate anything on it. On the day when I reached Hopkins with my 9 month pregnant wife, he just backed out saying he never agreed on price and I never gave him numbers which I don't think anyone would do before visiting the dealership atleast confirming the prices. The mistake I did I never got his confirmation from him on email. But I had my worst experience ever at the dealership, I have visited so many but never been treated like this and I am so pissed off because for this kind of experience I took my 9 month pregnant wife along. I was looking at the TSX. It was an immensely pleasant experience being at this dealership. I got a lot of useful information (I had researched the car in detail on Edmunds.com and many other places on th experience being at this dealership. I got a lot of useful information (I had researched the car in detail on Edmunds.com and many other places on the web thoroughly prior to going in, but I still learned things from this knowledgeable and pleasant person - like the fact that the white paint is now different, as the previous source was destroyed in the earthquake/nuclear incident in Japan - and he showed me the actual difference on the new TL vs. the TSX model of a year ago. The details in the difference between shades actually make a difference to me (and the number of embedded mica particles), as I very much like the pearlized white; the paint is now different not only for Acura but for the other dealerships that used the same source - which is most of the Japanese ones). He was also aware of exactly what they were getting in over the coming many months (he is in charge of inventory), and at no point did he try to talk me into a car that I didn't want (which almost nobody does out there. It is most common to try to talk one into buying something that they have on the lot to get rid of inventory and to assure a sale - and they had a good lineup of cars in the back). It is also common to try to create a feeling of scarceness of a model, to try and instill fear and push a person over to buying something they don't want. At no time did Michael do any of the many undesirable things that salespeople at general dealerships so commonly do. I want the 2012 Special Edition TSX in a manual 6 speed, which should be hitting the market at the end of this month. I go to a LOT of dealerships (I love cars, especially manual shift performance oriented cars with some luxury, and I've had reason to shop with my teenagers lately). I've never had the experience of not wanting to get away from the salesperson before. I stayed for several hours, making fine comparisons that I needed to think about alone, so that I could concentrate and let the important details sink in. Michael was there when I needed to ask some questions, but was wonderful at giving me lots of space with no pressure (and there were not at the time other clients to attend to on a weekday at that particular time of day). This is the next most expensive purchase to a house, so it is quite very important to get it right, and I greatly appreciate the opportunity to fully explore and to allow myself to form impressions that are pure (I looked at other cars while I was at it, as I have three teenagers who are really good drivers, and they will also need cars). This dealership has been there for years. They serve the Stanford community (and others of course), and their building is owned by them and paid for (which means they don't have a huge overhead to feed). They are not flashy. Their building has an older facade, but the quality there seems outstanding. In fact, I remember years ago several people at Stanford telling me how great this dealership was. Acura makes great cars, and this place is a fantastic source. They're not out to gouge people, the margins are a lot smaller today anyway, and I will most certainly go back to this place (as I would very much rather give my money to a dealership and person who I respect). I expect that they will give me a very fair deal (I do know my prices, including details about kickbacks and other such). So often salespeople in dealerships of various sorts don't EVEN know their own cars (I often find that I know more about the specific models than they do, at least, as I generally go in prepared, know the specs, know the differences between trims and know both what I don't want and what I do want. Or dealerships often try so very hard to get your name and phone number, only to spam you with inappropriate information about cars that you've made clear that you're NOT interested in. I wasn't even asked for my contact information; I was politely handed a card with everything including Michael's email, and it is up to me to contact him with questions or everything or anything I may need. I love it!!!!!! And he's bright. I appreciate a good brain. He's able to read a person and act according to what that personality needs. It is so nice not to be insulted with all that goes on at other dealerships! It is a difficult job, dealing with the public. I recognize and appreciate the fact that this is not necessarily an easy job, and I'm grateful that Michael was able to be so very useful and professional in the face of the difficulties that he must face about constantly in this job and with the public. This one gets 5 stars! More
