I arrive just before the service department opens and my vehicle service was completed in about an hour. Johnathan let me know about a plan that was being offered that would save me some money on the next three services on my Camry and I took it. Hoover Toyota has been servicing my toyotas since about 1985 and I have been very pleased with the service they have given me. More
2018 Toyota Tacoma with 49K. Vehicle under powertrain warranty. Have an extended warranty also. They want $150 diagnostic fee to look at my vehicle. Insanity. Techs make $25-$35 an hour. My 5-Star rating for Hoover Toyota is solely based on my experience with my Sales Consultant Brandon Piper. I purchased a Highlander XSE on December 28, 2021. Piper worked with me from start to finish, hara experience with my Sales Consultant Brandon Piper. I purchased a Highlander XSE on December 28, 2021. Piper worked with me from start to finish, harassment-free. He is very polite, passionate, and knowledgeable on Toyota cars. I felt the connection with him on my 1st shopping visit. I knew he was not going to sell me something that he would not sell his mother. I started my search in September and he never pressured me to purchase a car just to make a sale. Each time I returned to look, he treated me the same with patience and spent time answering my questions without a rush. Once my decision was made, I returned to purchase my vehicle and I am very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend Brandon Piper. However, I was not happy with the company rules or finance. I was from out of state and I wanted to make a $4,000.00 down payment with a check. The company would not accept an out of state check or visa card due to the amount, so they said. I had less than 5 minutes to find a bank open to get cash to make my down payment. Finance took forever to get the paperwork together. I felt as if they did not want my money. I was going to walk away from it all but I decided to continue with the purchase and my decision because I was very happy with my experience with Sales Consultant, Brandon Piper. I wish him the best of luck with his career. I hope the company will change their rules in the near future to support out of town customers. More
Great experience. It was very busy but my service advisor Matt took the time to listen to my concerns and understand them. I had additional questions about the work to be done and Matt was very knowledgeable and helped me understand what was needed. Matt was great! He also texted to let me know when Ruby 2 was ready. My car was parked just outside the door to be picked up and they had even backed it in so all I had to do was pull straight outta the spot. Ruby seemed cleaner too. More
GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I would NOT recommend HOOVER TOYOTA to anyone!!! The management in the USED car department are HORRIBLE. . I was in the process of buying a used car there, today. After my 15 min test drive. I decided to buy the car. I was needing my spouse to see the vehicle. So I drove it to my house. Due to traffic it took me longer than usual. The manager in the USED car department. Told my sales lady I had been gone to long.At that point it hadn’t even been a hour. I literally went to get the money for the car. The manager started giving the Sales lady a hard time, saying I had been gone too long. So I sent a 1,000 to hold the car which was only 5,000, til I could get back. Darius said he was reporting the car missing. When I when I got back to dealership. The manager and another man came outside and SCREAMED at me and told me I should answer my phone: when I had be on phone with the saleswoman for 50 mins on the way back. And then he proceeded to take the car keys away from me. Never asked if I was buying the car. Just took it from me and sold it to a white straight couple . This manager had said it was their policy to report the car missing after 15 min. He accused me off stealing a 5,000 car when my 60,000 was sitting there. And I had sent 1,000 til I got back. Just to be screwed at and the car sold to someone else. More
