Stay Away From Hoover Toyota!!! Hoover Toyota's service department is rotten! After years of taking my vehicle to their service department, I have gotten mostly nothing but bad experiences, dishonest service recommendations and a lousy, incompetent staff to deal with. The last time I had my car serviced at their dealership they replaced the front brake pads and turned the rotors. A few months later my brakes started making a grinding noise so I took it back to be inspected and they came back telling me there was nothing wrong with the brakes. Surprised at the answer I was given, I left and continued to drive the car until the noise got so frequent that I began to question the safety of driving the car. After returning to the dealership a second time, I was again told there was nothing wrong with the brakes and that the noise I was hearing was coming from an unlikely source. I asked to speak with the service manager about my doubts about their conclusion of the problem but was blown off and not taken serious when I attempted to do so. So I took my car across town to Limbaugh Toyota to be looked at and after 3 hours was told by the technician that inspected my car that I had been sold a bad pair of brake pads that crystallized shortly after they were installed on my vehicle. It was apparent that Hoover Toyota did not only do their job in finding the problem but they sold me cheaper aftermarket brake pads that were not genuine Toyota pads. I then made a call back to Hoover Toyota to speak with the owner but of course, he was not available to take my call so I left a message. He nor the dealership ever called me back and corporate Toyota never righted the wrong committed by this dealership. It is my strong recommendation to stay far away from this dealership and would even go as far as recommending that you consider purchasing another brand of vehicle as I don’t see this company standing behind their products, service or customers like they once did many moons ago. I've had to have air fixed and the dealership that has it has told me there was no work ever done on this car... Hoover toyota I trusted you with my first purchase with your company... You will never ever get my business or anyone I know ... And the free red carpet service u offer isn't worth the mess I've been dealing with since I signed forbthis vehicle ... We have always loved Toyota and have been dedicated customers for as long as I can remember. However, that apparently means nothing. Our latest purchase was a 2012 Tundra and we have had issues with it customers for as long as I can remember. However, that apparently means nothing. The automatic door locks work intermittently and there has been something popping in the front of it. We took it mor than a few times while it was under warranty to have it fixed. Each time they "couldn't reproduce" the issue of the popping. Once Scott got it to do it for the mechanic while he was driving but the guy "didn't hear it." They replaced the locking mechanism once and now the same issue is happening and they refuse to help. Also, NOW that it is out of warranty, they found the popping issue in the suspension.... where Scott told them it was the entire time....but they kept looking in the steering. Annnnnd you guessed it....they are unwilling to replace because the warranty is out. This is unbelievable and sickening. I'm disheartened and hate that I will never get to have a Toyota again because I refuse to buy from such a shady company!!! It didn't used to be that way. Obviously, it is now. I will be posting my experience everywhere I possibly can including the BBB and anyone else that will listen!!! More

It was a pleasure to work with Dale on the selection of our new Toyota. We looked at several different vehicles before our final selection but he was pleasant, informed and helpful in answering any questi our new Toyota. There was never any pressure from him to make a decision and he was always very professional. We were very pleased to have worked with him. This is the 4th Toyota we have bought from Hoover Toyota and we feel they are a very reputable company that we would be willing to recommend to anyone. Tom Sagen has assisted both my husband and me in car sales and leasing for at least six years. During this time, Tom has always been so courteous, knowledgebale, and willing to work with us in acquiring new vehicles. Patience and professionalism are stellar traits in this business. Tom Sagen should be rated as one person who has these gifts and more. He is not pushy, doesn't get ruffled, and remembers us and keeps up with us. That personal touch and interest is the main reason I go back to this dealership. I trust Tom Sagen. He is honest and careful. Tells me the facts, and if he doesn''t know the answer, he "finds out". In the busy world today, this experience of car shopping is virtually painless because of the people in this dealership. Dec. 04, 12 we were at the dealer service dept. for oil change, and problem with engine cranking. We received oil change and were told no problem found with engine cranking. Dec. 27, 12 went to another sho change, and problem with engine cranking. We received oil change and were told no problem found with engine cranking. Dec. 27, 12 went to another shop, described same problem, and was told battery was weak. Replaced battery, and so far no problem. I suppose Hoover Toyota did not want to replace battery for second time under warranty. Cheap battery will not hold up over two years. No, we will not return to Hoover Toyota. More
