We had a wonderful experience with Hoover Toyota’s excellent service department. From the moment we arrived to service our daughter’s Camry we were quickly and completely taken care of. We also were looking at a vehicle to purchase and that is when Dominic took over. He greeted us promptly, accessed our needs and even rode with us on the test drive to help us navigate B’ham traffic.:) We highly recommend Hoover Toyota and Dominic Vargas for any car servicing and/or to purchase a new one. I have 2019 Tundra. They wanted to charge me close to $500.00 to replace the headlight bulbs mainly because of my brush guard. $368.00 to take it off then the other $200 They wanted to charge me close to $500.00 to replace the headlight bulbs mainly because of my brush guard. $368.00 to take it off then the other $200.00 for 2 bulbs and removing the front grill. This is not the first time they have tried this, on our Highlander $150.00 to “fix” the sunroof leak. They did the service on my tundra and installed a recall on the headlights. The hood trim was misaligned, less than a week later I had to replace the battery after they said it checked good. Now I have a blown headlight. I had to pay the $380.00 for them to do the recall repair now this. So to replace 2 bulbs it’s $500.00. DO NOT use Hoover Toyota it’s a rip off joint More
I had such a pleasant experience with Hoover Toyota and was blown away by the customer service they provided. I never felt pressured to buy a car from them and when the time came to purchase a car, the pro was blown away by the customer service they provided. I never felt pressured to buy a car from them and when the time came to purchase a car, the process was super smooth and easy. I worked with Terrence and Xavier and they were by far my favorite salesmen to work with. Terrence went above and beyond to make sure I found the car of my dreams and made the buying process so easy. I would recommend asking for Terrence when you shop at Hoover Toyota. Xavier is a manager but I felt like I built a good rapport with him that he felt like a best friend helping me through the process. Everyone there from the desk of greeters to the finance team was super friendly and inviting. Thank you all so much for my new car! I love it so much! More
The new policy of service by appointment only changed on June 24,2023. I have had my car serviced for the last 10 years but today June 28, 2023 when I sent my son to have an oil change they refused to wait June 24,2023. I have had my car serviced for the last 10 years but today June 28, 2023 when I sent my son to have an oil change they refused to wait on him. Told him they are by appointment only! I received no notice of the change. You would think a customer this loyal would be at least told before we drive 45 miles from our town to Hoover. Horrible service department! It used to be so good but now like most things customer service means nothing! I’m very disappointed to say the least. I won’t be back and my advice to you is don’t go there. You will waist your time and money! More
Liars and thieves. Never buy, or trust promises made. They cheated and lied to my 19 year old daughter. When her mother and I were out of town. And lied over and over on out the door price, trade In On her car, she was so in love with the car and exhausted from 2 days of trying to get them to honor the promises made she gave up and paid thousands more then they promised. Liar an d thieves. And I will tell everyone that will listen. More

She is 19 and so in love with the car, and was exhausted after 2 days of trying to get them to honor the prices they gave. She ended up buying and paying thousands more than they said they could do. I will never do business with liars and thieves like them. I am furious they took advantage of her. I will tell everyone I know how they cheated her. More
Worst customer I have ever had. I had front and rear brakes done and spent over $1,425.00. They said i needed a new Radiator but I told them I wanted to hold off on that. 3 days lat I had front and rear brakes done and spent over $1,425.00. They said i needed a new Radiator but I told them I wanted to hold off on that. 3 days later i decided to get a new radiator. I tried for 2 days to get the service advisor Vincent to call me. Left 2 or 3 messages NO RESPONSE. The last time I called a young lady answered the phone and I told her my problem. She asked me if wanted to esculate to Management and I told her yes. That was a day and a half a go. NO CALL BACK. I have used this dealership on and off for over 30 years. These people don't seem to care about customer satisfaction. I will never go back to this dealership again !!!!! More
This was the first experience I've had buying a vehicle all on my own. Eddie and Kim were absolutely wonderful to work with. They made the process as clear and seamless as possible.
