I have gotten to the point in my life that with all of the games and strategies played by most auto dealerships these days, it was refreshing to do business with you. You handled our negotiating and delivery as a true professional. And I, as a former Chevy Oldsmobile dealer, appreciate that more than you probably know. It was certainly worth the 1 1/2 hour drive from Myrtle Beach to Moncks Corner to be treated like the adults my daughter and I are. Great job, and keep up the good work. You are 5 stars in my book. This place has got be be doing illegal fraudulent things. I called ahead to verify vehicle I wanted was available. They confirmed it was. I drove two hours to the dealer and that was a huge mistake. I test drove the vehicle and it was filthy, hadn't been detailed and the vehicle pulled to the right. The salesman said they would detail it and put a repair order in at a local dealer if I purchased it. Why wouldn't it be detailed and repaired if its waiting to be purchased? The vehicle price online was 27,000 and when I arrived and they presented me with the price sheet they changed the price to 29,000. Charged me a "garage fee" of 2,200, a detailing fee of 895, an oil change package fee of 1,850 and a few other fees. They also stated they had to dock a "garage fee" from my trade in, and surely they charged this "garage fee" to the person that traded in the vehicle I was going to purchase which means they're double dipping on vehicle fees. I explained to them that it makes zero sense for a buyer to pay the dealer to detail and repair the vehicle that they are buying. The salesman Josh was fantastic and I'm sure he could make a ton of money at a better dealership. Not working for the manager he has. When I confronted the manager about the fees and the changed price of the vehicle he stated "well it says online the price is subject to change" I left. This place needs to be investigated. Don't waste your money here, and Josh, if you see this, go work some where that believes is honesty. You'll make way more. More
I drove 4 hours to test drive and purchase a truck. I called in advance to verify the truck was still available and told the salesman it would take me 4 hours to get there. When I arrived they told me the price was $43,500. I reminded them about their posted internet price. Their response was I was getting a great deal and the truck was worth a lot more. Be cautious. Y'all don't take your car to this place. They have had my car now for a week and still haven't gotten it back and Everytime my husband calls up there they tell him the next day it'll be ready. I needed to get my oil changed and decided to look at some vehicles while I was there. I got the opportunity to work directly with the General Manager Rod Ricciardi who was extremely helpful. He gave me some vehicles while I was there. I got the opportunity to work directly with the General Manager Rod Ricciardi who was extremely helpful. He gave me his card and cell and said if I ever wanted to upgrade he would personally help me. I left here feeling very good. Good people on staff there. The Service Department was very prompt with my oil change and even performed a full inspection. I will definately be going here in the future. The management has changed and it seems to be making a huge difference to me. Thank you Hoover Chrysler. More
Don't believe them they are a bunch of LIARS !!! The one thing I wanted was a tow hitch with lights all I got was the hitch! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I purchased a car from them on 9/21/2020 and it stopped working 10/17/2020. I called and spoke to Sqaney, the manager who said, "the car you purchased is a wholesale vehic them on 9/21/2020 and it stopped working 10/17/2020. So because "he does not make money off of the car he sold me for $3,300, he does not offer any compensation for the car he sold me less than a month ago!!!! BUYERS BEWARE, THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR CARS!!!!! Sqaney, manage of Hoover Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Moncks Corner is unwilling to make any compensation for the lemon they sold me. I live in Hawaii and purchased this car from my daughter who is recently divorced with three school age children who is working three jobs to support herself and her children. This automobile is extremely important to her survival, it gets her to work. Hoover Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Moncks Corner is devoid of moral respect to take advantage of our family. To HOOVER CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF MONCKS CORNER $3,300 is worth more to them than support the community with a good reputation and high moral code of ethics. Same on them! I am pushing this as far as I can based on principle. More
