Mr. Jaeger, Thank you for your communication. We are truly sorry we did not meet your standard of customer care. As we wrote in our emails to you, were not able to accommodate your pricing request on your vehicle choice as the pricing you wished was thousands below our cost. We did reach out to you in multiple emails and phone calls, gave you an out-the-door price so it was as easy as we knew how to make it. We did not hear back from you that we know of. In those emails We offered you a very large discount on your vehicle of choice; a discount that made your price below our cost to try and satisfy you as our guest. Looking at our system we did not hear back from you on that offer. That said, we are going though every call during the time you indicated you called to find out who you left messages with. That way we may make changes to better our systems and training so we ensure all messages get to the right people. Our apologies for not being as intensive with our follow up as you may have liked. We show over a dozen emails and calls went out to you. We try very hard to be the best we can be. In this case we fell short of that goal and we regret any inconvenience we may have caused. If you would like to speak to us more on this please send an email to our General Sales Manager, Patrick Peters at ppeters@scbgmc.com and let him know a good time and day to call you and he would be glad to do that. Thank you, again, for taking the time to reach out to us.

I'm Sorry', Looked in my spam folder,& trash bin and I do not find "dozens of responses" from you regarding my inquiry, nor do my phone records reflect any attempts. I can tell you this. It all started with Mary the chat specialist, but I do not blame her. I believe your process may be flawed. I understand my substantially lower offer may have offended you, but that was not my intention, rather it was meant to make someone pick up the phone and begin a mature and meaningful business like dialogue. As a former Division President of a fortune 500 company in San Diego, negotiating and dealing with difficult and sometimes unreasonable customers is not foreign to me. Maybe your company doesn't negotiate your advertised prices. That's ok, just make it clear. Furthermore, my offer to you was based on a truck with identical specifications you had for sale about a month ago at about the same price. I believe your advertised price was $28,898.00. I made several attempts to purchase that vehicle as well, with the same results, beginning with Mary. I see no reason to continue the futile debate. I'm sure we all have more productive things to spend our energy on. Sincerely Doug Jaeger
