AC Service I brought my car in on June 13th for an AC concern and within 24 hours I received a call that problem was diagnosed. Unfortunately, I did not have any contact with anyone from Honolulu Ford for about 4 days. I made several attempts to contact service writer but with no avail. The purpose of contacting Honolulu Ford was to find out how long to rent car (previous experience was about 3 weeks). I waited about three days for someone to contact me but no one returned my calls. I called the manager Sam Bersamin. I was told by Mr. Bersamin that this is normal business operations at Honolulu Ford. There are many things in play and it is it customary for this type of customer service. I expressed my frustration of not being contacted with some sort of update so I can plan with car rental and family schedules. He also let me know that since mechanics are not knowledgeable about this type of repair work, it will take much longer than usual. I asked (almost begged) him to call me back with some sort of time frame so I could at least plan. He did not. An hour later, I received call from receptionist telling me that the part was ordered. I took that information and planned for weeks without a car. For the next 14 days, I was never notified by anyone from Honolulu Ford regarding my car. I received a call the afternoon of July 5th that my car was done. I picked up the car on Friday July 6th (afternoon). I stopped on the way home to put gas and when I started car the AC would not come on. I called Honolulu Ford on Monday July 9th and got an appt for July 10th. I did not hear back from Honolulu Ford for one week so I called on July 17th. A receptionist took my call, put me on hold and came back on phone to tell me that they are still diagnosing problem and it would be another week. I informed her that I just wanted to know time frame since I am again renting a car and I am going on 5 weeks of renting a car. As of today, Honolulu Ford still has my car for the same concern and I am hoping it will be diagnosed and repaired within the next two weeks making it 6 weeks for AC repair. Honolulu Ford has had my car for 4 weeks going on 5 and I have received ONE phone call during this entire time. I am very very disappointed with every aspect of the customer service. I asked if my treatment was based on income level and I was assured that every customer is treated the same. This is even more disappointing that every customer has to beg to be informed on length of time repairs will take. As I share my story with others, they are shocked as their dealership does NOT treat them in the same manner. I share that I was assured that this is usual business at Honolulu Ford. I will never make the same mistake of purchasing a new or used vehicle from Honolulu Ford again. It is disheartening to write a review such as this. *I am not giving Mr. Bersamin and Kyle poor ratings as this is Honolulu Ford's policy they are adhering to. More

Outstanding salesman and excellent setvice provider Ben Cabalo is very helpful, cheerful, and very respectful. My wife and I have bought 5 Ford cars from Honulu Ford through Ben. Kyle Piercy the service manager explained thoroughly what my car needs for repair. He is also very helpful, cheerful, and courteous The waiting area is very clean and lots of fresh coffee. The office assistants are all cheerful, courteous and very helpful making you feel like being at home. Thanks for the free WIFI while waiting. Professional and great customer service. Chad assisted me when I got there. He was busy but he didn't rush me. He spoke to me in regards to what was going to happen service wise on my vehicle. I left my vehicle and he was going to call me, we set a pick up time of 12:00. I got done earlier with an appointment, called Chad, he said my vehicle was done. Chad greeted me and we went over the paperwork and next service. He was very professional and yet courteous. He didn't treat me like a number, he made the experience of taking in your car for service very pleasant. His customer service was excellent. The other workers who assist by checking you in were great too. More
2 months and a lost key My car was at the dealer service center for roughly 2 months to fix an engine problem. According to my service agent, it took 3+ weeks to get the part in, then it was discovered that the technicians lost my key so I had to deliver my spare key to the shop, then after being told numerous times that my car would be done "the next day" I was told that the job couldn't be finished because the technician was out sick. After finally being told my car was done, I showed up to a bill that was nearly double what I was quoted and had to wait for them to straighten it out. More

A very satisfied customer. We came in anticipating a lengthy repair time not a normal service because of a thumping sound under the carriage of our Explore. We had Chad as our service rep and he was very professional from beginning to end. Just as an after thought I saw a sign that said "detail special" and I asked if I could have that included, not thinking that to add wait time in getting our vehicle back. I have to admit that this was the longest we've waited for our car at HFord, but after hearing from Chad what had to be done, we understood completely. Thank you Honolulu Ford and especially Chad for making our experience tolerable. After purchasing from Honolulu Ford (over the years) an 8 passenger van, 2 F150 pick-up trucks and now an Explorer, we are HFord customers for life. More
