Service Chad was awesome. If I had any questions I would text him and his response was quick. The only thing is my SUV didn’t get checked to see what was wr Chad was awesome. The only thing is my SUV didn’t get checked to see what was wrong with it until 3 days after I brought it in, so my SUV took about 2 weeks to get fixed. But when we got our SUV back the AC was not working properly it would be cold then it gets warm blowing warm air. It’s shuts off and on when in use. The AC was working fine before we took it to get serviced. More

Lied to my face Brought my car in or a head gasket recall a few months ago. Car was running just fine prior to the recall work being done. I got the car back and was Brought my car in or a head gasket recall a few months ago. Car was running just fine prior to the recall work being done. I got the car back and was told the aftermarket parts in my car are casuing a check engine light. I double checked what I could with my aftermarket parts and everything seemed in working order. After doing some research and consulting my engine tuner. I was told I have an exhaust leak and that is what is causing the check engine lights. Brought the car back to Ford on three separate occasions for approximately 3 days at a time ( a total of 9 or so days). Every time it was brought in, I told them, there's an exhaust leak near my turbo or down pipe (start of exhaust). Each time I was given my car back, I was told it was the catless down pipe that caused the check engine light. Based on the information I was given while consulting people much smarter than myself with the ecoboost platform and my own knowledge of how the car ran before and after the recall work, I knew this was a lie. The code the catless down pipe generates is a completely different code from the one I was getting after the recall. So, I took my car home and ripped it apart only to find that my down pipe had a loose bolt which caused it to leak. I put a new bolt in and put the car back together and now with the check engine light cleared, I've had no issues from the car for 2 weeks. The car runs better than ever thanks to my own work and no thanks to Honolulu Ford. More

The reception area where I signed up to get shuttled back to work, was very unattentive. I'm not sure if it was the time of day, but there were at least (2) workers behind the desk. I sat there for a good amount of time, waiting for someone to approach or acknowledge that a shuttle would drop me off at work, before I called for my own ride. I come from a very customer service oriented background. Just acknowledging a customer/person means the world to most. More

AC Service I brought my car in on June 13th for an AC concern and within 24 hours I received a call that problem was diagnosed. Unfortunately, I did not have any contact with anyone from Honolulu Ford for about 4 days. I made several attempts to contact service writer but with no avail. The purpose of contacting Honolulu Ford was to find out how long to rent car (previous experience was about 3 weeks). I waited about three days for someone to contact me but no one returned my calls. I called the manager Sam Bersamin. I was told by Mr. Bersamin that this is normal business operations at Honolulu Ford. There are many things in play and it is it customary for this type of customer service. I expressed my frustration of not being contacted with some sort of update so I can plan with car rental and family schedules. He also let me know that since mechanics are not knowledgeable about this type of repair work, it will take much longer than usual. I asked (almost begged) him to call me back with some sort of time frame so I could at least plan. He did not. An hour later, I received call from receptionist telling me that the part was ordered. I took that information and planned for weeks without a car. For the next 14 days, I was never notified by anyone from Honolulu Ford regarding my car. I received a call the afternoon of July 5th that my car was done. I picked up the car on Friday July 6th (afternoon). I stopped on the way home to put gas and when I started car the AC would not come on. I called Honolulu Ford on Monday July 9th and got an appt for July 10th. I did not hear back from Honolulu Ford for one week so I called on July 17th. A receptionist took my call, put me on hold and came back on phone to tell me that they are still diagnosing problem and it would be another week. I informed her that I just wanted to know time frame since I am again renting a car and I am going on 5 weeks of renting a car. As of today, Honolulu Ford still has my car for the same concern and I am hoping it will be diagnosed and repaired within the next two weeks making it 6 weeks for AC repair. Honolulu Ford has had my car for 4 weeks going on 5 and I have received ONE phone call during this entire time. I am very very disappointed with every aspect of the customer service. I asked if my treatment was based on income level and I was assured that every customer is treated the same. This is even more disappointing that every customer has to beg to be informed on length of time repairs will take. As I share my story with others, they are shocked as their dealership does NOT treat them in the same manner. I share that I was assured that this is usual business at Honolulu Ford. I will never make the same mistake of purchasing a new or used vehicle from Honolulu Ford again. It is disheartening to write a review such as this. *I am not giving Mr. Bersamin and Kyle poor ratings as this is Honolulu Ford's policy they are adhering to. More
