Better than I thought!! It has been a long time since I purchased or even look at a car from a dealer! Excellent! This was my first ever new car buying experiences so I was definitely intimidated by the process and decided that Honolulu Ford would be my first deal This was my first ever new car buying experiences so I was definitely intimidated by the process and decided that Honolulu Ford would be my first dealership I would stop at. As I got to the lot I noticed that sales people weren't running to you as soon as you walked on the lot to try and sell you a car for a quick sale. I proceeded to walk into the office and asked for Sherman. Once he arrived back on-site I took the car I was interested in on a test drive. The first one that I took on a test drive was the base model, basically with no bells and whistle but still felt like a great ride. He allowed me to take it around the block and onto the freeway so I could feel the acceleration. Once back at the lot I decided I also wanted to check out the SE which was the next model up. I didn't think that I would get the opportunity to test drive this model because I just came back. Sherman let me know that this model had a little more power so I should test drive it. I enjoyed this model and decided that this was the one I will think about. While back in the office Sherman went over the different financing options with me and gave me a print out of what my payments would be. He showed me the different options of APR and Length of Loan. I came equipped with a car loan that I had already got approved for but Ford Financing was at a much better rate. This was on a Monday and I did not feel pressure at all the purchase the car at that point. I was able to think it over and I let him know that I would be in touch. With my awesome experience I decided that this was the car within my budget and had all of the features that I wanted. I got held up at another dealership (horrible experience) which strengthened my decision even more to proceed with Honolulu Ford. As a result I was confident that this was the car for me and I called Sherman. Once there Joe helped me by taking care of my trade in and information. He took the time and showed me every single button my car and what it does. He was patient and didn't laugh at me when I asked him a question he already answered. He was personable and friendly and I felt like I was speaking to a friend rather than a salesman. Chris talked me through my warranty, financing and signing my trade in over. He was quick but still made sure I understood everything. I felt confident that I knew what I was signing each time I had to. Over all Honolulu Ford made the entire process painless. I never felt pressured and they were patient and explained everything to me. They allowed me to go home and think it over rather than trying to get it out the door the first day I went it. I appreciated the time they took assisting me and I am so happy with my new car! More

F-150 Lariat w/ 6" lift sold by Ben "The Doctor" Cabalo I recently purchased the White F-150 Lariat with 6in lift that was on the display ramp at the entrance gate. Absolutely love the truck! We noticed t I recently purchased the White F-150 Lariat with 6in lift that was on the display ramp at the entrance gate. Absolutely love the truck! We noticed the tow hooks/loops at the front already has rust and has caused the chrome to bubble and peel. We are a little disappointed with that; especially for a new $80k truck. But we've already emailed Ben separately regarding Ford needing to replace these. Aside from that, our family and business have been buying vehicles from Dr. Ben since the late 60's when his hairdo was fluffier. I believe we are easily in the 40's as far as amount of cars or trucks bought for family or our relatives. This doesn't include the many additional trucks purchased for industrial use for the sugar company (under my later father) or for our family construction business (by me & my wife). Dearly called Tito Ben (Uncle Ben), we never feel the need to discuss price or negotiate ever. Most of the time we talk about the car then eachother's family, then about 45 seconds on the price offer and that's it. Its done. Mark Benson also came out to greet and congratulate us for once again purchasing a truck; also mentioning he'd like to put my wife in a future commercial with the truck that was sold. If he's serious (I think he was), we are willing to help. Just let us know when. Ben is a doctor of sales because he doesn't sell the product; rather he sells trustworthiness in himself. That's why we are loyal. I knew more about the truck features than Ben did which was so funny and, thanks to him, we know a new saying..."RTFM". We buy people, not products. For my family, Ben was "bought" many years ago, before I was born. His unwavering efficiency, honesty and trustworthiness is why he will always be Tito Ben in our family.
