My original contact was done using the online services and although there was confusion at the start when I arrived, Celes was called and took care of me from the beginning to end. I was very impressed with how he handled not only the sale of the car but all the paperwork and detail. Anyways, only recently the maintenance light finally illuminated. I called and receive the most aloha "spirited" receptionists. After a few schedule checks she managed to fit me schedule my car for servicing just after the 4th of July holiday. Chad Getz, from the moment I parked my car was very personable and professional. He gave me his utmost attention and eye contact (this is very rare nowadays) and provided me a full detail of my request. What I found to be very unique and exceeded my expectation was he called me for the status and any changes before any services was made. He provided a full detail of what was to be expected and even followed through to ensure I did not have any questions. Lastly, "Aunty" Edith Kahele. What an exceptional nice lady who was very friendly and full of the aloha spirit too!! This shows how well Honolulu Ford takes care of their customers and providing the most friendly and professional services. She was very patient to wait for me to leave my office and was still happy to see me and take back to get my car. Wow!! Good Job and thanks for making me part of your Ohana! More

TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY Purchased a brand new Ford Explorer towards the end of last year. 6 months later the Engine malfunction light went on and the engine jerked, revved, s Purchased a brand new Ford Explorer towards the end of last year. 6 months later the Engine malfunction light went on and the engine jerked, revved, stalled during gear change. Took it in to the dealership. They indicated that they needed to update the "software." Why this was necessary on a new car was a mystery. Picked it back up after 5 days, drove it off the lot and drove right back on. Car did exactly the same thing. Set up appointment for 2 weeks later when part was in. Said it would take 4 hours to put in part. Returned 5 hours later and told the issues were more extensive then they thought and needed to keep the car. 1 week later picked up car and still doing the same thing. Kyle in the Service department will not return my voice messages. Left message on the Service Manager Mr. Bersamin's voice mail a number of times - no response. UNBELIEVABLE. All over me when I went to purchase it not long ago and not to be found now that a brand new Explorer has ENGINE ISSUES. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP and do not consider a Ford Explorer. I should have researched first as they are listed on line as having engine issues. Honolulu Ford is rated 2 1/2 stars on Yelp for a reason and even that rating is far too generous. Emailed the General Manager and still no response. This dealership is a disgrace to the Ford name. I have lodged an extensive complaint with the Ford Corporate office and have been given a case number to work with. With reference to Honolulu Ford's response to my review. Still no contact from Honolulu Ford although they state that they have "reached out" and issue is NOT intermittent. Take responsibility and do not try to minimalize the issue when you cannot fix the problem nor have the decency to respond. Ford Corporate office instructed me to take it to another Ford dealership. Met with the Service Manager from this dealership and they are EXCELLENT. I continue to work with the Corporate office on my complaint with Honolulu Ford. I will not step down on that. Totally unprofessional dealership. More
Professional and Outstanding service agent. Since 2012 I have purchased 2 trucks. In the past my first truck went in for repairs and the service agent whom I had left messages for , never return Since 2012 I have purchased 2 trucks. In the past my first truck went in for repairs and the service agent whom I had left messages for , never returned my call. However, I was very pleased with the repairs done by the mechanics. I recently purchased a brand new truck and just required regular maintenance. The service agent this time, was very clear as to what was going to be done and also a timeline when it should be completed. Long story short, I just want to send my Mahalo out to Theresa for her outstanding service and great work ethics. I own a business and know how difficult it can be to find workers who can reflect great service for any business owner. Honolulu Ford should be Thankful for people like Theresa. I look forward to keeping my business and also recommending Honolulu Ford to my family and friends. Aloha! More
