Ford made me return a number of times to sign paperwork that was just sent to my phone for an e-sign. They also told me I needed documents last minute while I was on my way to the dealership when in fact t that was just sent to my phone for an e-sign. In Sept 2019, a bad recall happened where none of my rear lights worked leaving the dealer for the first time. A police officer stopped me and said "nice truck sir but none of your rear lights are working" I returned the next day and had sales, service, dealer and service manger was on me and my truck to find out what happened. It got fixed. My last service was Jan 2023. My Ford Pass did not connect. Ms. Fey Nelson went out of her way to connect the app. She backed up her skills by getting coworker Angel to make sure the app was solid and working. Honolulu Ford is family to me. Ford Honolulu in Kalihi has to be one of the worst car dealerships and service departments on island. Cody Kaneshiro sold us the Bronco Sport with a defect part that caused a leak in our car for over 2 mo dealerships and service departments on island. Cody Kaneshiro sold us the Bronco Sport with a defect part that caused a leak in our car for over 2 months that we were unaware of. When finally looking under the carpet we noticed mildew and mold building up. I immediately took the car in to have the service department look at it. I stressed that this was a SERIOUS HEALTH issue driving with my children in the car. After several hours they tried to get us to take the car back home and told us that they temporarily fixed the leak until the part comes in end of March almost 2 months later. Not satisfied with taking home our brand new toxic mildew/mold car we settled on a $40 a day Japanese rental. (NOT HAPPY) Today 2:30 pm traffic hour the dealership calls me and tells me that I need to return the rent a car today before I get charged $40 per day and that they can only give us a car for 10 days. Nobody mentioned anything to us until today. Now mind you, we have children we need to pick up from school, after-school activities we are obligated to and businesses we run during the day. We also live on the opposite side of the island. If this isn't a clear picture of how this dealership will work with you I can go into deeper details of how unjust they are treating us with their defective cars they are selling. Now you be the judge on how shady and corrupt FORD HONOLULU dealership will treat you. I would never recommend buying or servicing my vehicles here ever again. They also lie and do not return calls. I'm going to let them contact me and make this right or I will start listing their names here. More
Went to see Ford Maverick's availability, as their site indicated several Mavericks are still in stock or available both 2022 and 2023 models. I was shown a 2022 model in the new year (2023) and the price indicated several Mavericks are still in stock or available both 2022 and 2023 models. I was shown a 2022 model in the new year (2023) and the price markup was unbelievable. A 2022 XLT Maverick hybrid (MSRP = $26,000) was marked up to $39,000. There was a couple of hundred dollars added on for small items, and I can see the reason for this increase beyond MSRP, but there was no reason for a markup of >$12,000 more than MSRP for nothing at all. This is a 2022 model too. I understand the demand but, considering the quality compare to other trucks and being last year's model, the 46% markup was outrageous. Although their cars are available, they are not showing them to make it seem like all are sold and these types of vehicles are in high demand! First, I was told that they only had one left, but then I told the host I did not like the color to see his reaction; he mistakenly told me other colors are available and caught himself in a lie and backtracked. The workers are great; it is the dealership owner that is the problem. To all of you with a strong desire to buy a Maverick like me, please join me in protest against all dealers who price gouge to to steal your hard-earned money to make ridiculous profits - don't buy a Maverick or any car if they are going to markup to rip you off! To Ford CEO, DO SOMETHING! These dealerships are hurting your company! They cannot be allowed to set their own price and markups to such a ridiculous extent. Instead of releasing a nice piece of work you have created, so the public can use in their daily life and enjoy your product, these dealers are not releasing your product for the public to use, enjoy, promote, and publicize your vehicles and make you stand out against your present and future competitors. Instead, they are not releasing your vehicles (even last year's model) to be use, unless they make ridiculous profits, and your vehicles are sitting at a lot somewhere not being showcased.
