Dealership with a heart While looking at new cars when my husband had a medical issue. Everyone responded quickly and with concern to get assistance for him. Richard Teryua w While looking at new cars when my husband had a medical issue. Everyone responded quickly and with concern to get assistance for him. Richard Teryua went above and beyond the call of duty to see that we were returned to the dealership from the emergency room. Thomas Kondo did a great job showing us the cars we were interested in. It was decent My experience was pleasant. The sales and finance manager were friendly. I was able to test drive the vehicle, discuss numbers etc, and wasn't press My experience was pleasant. The sales and finance manager were friendly. I was able to test drive the vehicle, discuss numbers etc, and wasn't pressured into anything. What could have used improvement was that I saw the online price, and I asked the sales rep what the price was and he said what was on the sticker of the car. Then when I wanted to see financing rates they still didn't give me the online price, I had to ask for it, The car's sticker was 23K and the online price was 19k. The other part that could use improvement is clarity in financing stage. I purchased the lifetime oil changes and the extended warranty with ALLY because I like the benefits and peace of mind. My experience at Honolulu Ford was that I was being told those items "Comes with my purchase" which is quite shady of a delivery I feel, but I can't control what values a company trains their employees with. If you want to run a stand up, honest, business you sell the benefits of the package. Don't try to trick people. Would the approach taken be the same if they were selling a car to their own child?Probably not. Focus selling peace of mind, and the quality of service they will get. More

Friendly, professional service with Aloha I've had a FORD car for past 15-years and like the brand. When I moved back home to Oahu from Maui I brought my Focus to Honolulu Ford for Servicing. I've had a FORD car for past 15-years and like the brand. When I moved back home to Oahu from Maui I brought my Focus to Honolulu Ford for Servicing. At first I didn't have the best experiences, but once I got Kyle as my Service provider he really helped change my mind about their Customer Service. When my Focus went downhill I leased my first car a Fiesta and Angel was great! After I paid it off I decided to move to a Escape. Though the situation did not totally work out as I wanted, getting the type of Escape I wanted Rhett the Lease Manager and Marcus Wery the General Manager have done an exceptional job of doing whatever it takes to make me a satisfied and happy customer. Everyone from Sales/Lease Staff, Miles in Finance, the Service and Parts people have been great. More
Lied to my face Brought my car in or a head gasket recall a few months ago. Car was running just fine prior to the recall work being done. I got the car back and was Brought my car in or a head gasket recall a few months ago. Car was running just fine prior to the recall work being done. I got the car back and was told the aftermarket parts in my car are casuing a check engine light. I double checked what I could with my aftermarket parts and everything seemed in working order. After doing some research and consulting my engine tuner. I was told I have an exhaust leak and that is what is causing the check engine lights. Brought the car back to Ford on three separate occasions for approximately 3 days at a time ( a total of 9 or so days). Every time it was brought in, I told them, there's an exhaust leak near my turbo or down pipe (start of exhaust). Each time I was given my car back, I was told it was the catless down pipe that caused the check engine light. Based on the information I was given while consulting people much smarter than myself with the ecoboost platform and my own knowledge of how the car ran before and after the recall work, I knew this was a lie. The code the catless down pipe generates is a completely different code from the one I was getting after the recall. So, I took my car home and ripped it apart only to find that my down pipe had a loose bolt which caused it to leak. I put a new bolt in and put the car back together and now with the check engine light cleared, I've had no issues from the car for 2 weeks. The car runs better than ever thanks to my own work and no thanks to Honolulu Ford. More
