They screwed up at every step. Forgot temporary plates and scratched my window before I drove off. When I went back to get the window replaced, they somehow ordered the wrong window. Their surface care package made my car dirtier than when I gave it to them. The first time, I sent it back and they did it again. It came back better but still a trashy detailing job. Everyone I knew who saw it thought it looked terrible. The person who referred me to Honolulu Ford (a customer for over 20 years) was embarrassed and regrets doing so. I then took it to a real detailer who did a nice ceramic coat and made it look perfect, then requested a refund/cancellation of that package. When I went to bring the car in for the window replacement again, they did the surface care that I wanted cancelled and ruined my expensive real ceramic coat. Now after talking to management, they dont want to refund the surface care nor do they want to reimburse me for the damage. They also screwed up the window trim badly when they replaced the window… and its been 3 months since I bought and they still don’t have my license plates… what a messed up system. More

My sales experience was absolutely terrible here. Only reason I bought my used truck from here was because of the extensive research I did online across the island for best deal in my price range. Dealer was nice but delivered a bunch of false information/talked out of turn when it came to financing. Talked me out of putting down a bigger deposit to make my monthly payments cheaper. Truck wasn’t anywhere near ready for me to take home after signing, when I was told three times it would be. Then they were going to drop it off to me that day. No word from them. No truck delivered. Canceled plans to wait for it. Next day still no word until 11;00A after I reached out to them to see what was going on. They didn’t know when the truck would be done. Was told I’d be updated every other hour. Was never given any sort of update of when the truck was to be dropped off. Missed my niece’s fifth birthday party waiting for the truck. Finally arrives at 4:30-5:00P two days after purchase. The detailing of the truck was terrible. It still had surf wax on the side of the bed runners, sticky gunk on the back window, dirt and crumbs on the middle console/cup holders. I paid for a detail inside and out the next day out of pocket. Put it this way when I was leaving the dealership after signing the dealer said to me “oh no why do you look like that? You should be happy you just bought a truck!” Why do I look like this? Because my sales experience was exhausting and absolutely sucked. Again like stated, if I didn’t do my own extensive research of what I wanted and could afford I never would have bought a truck from here. More

Went to Honolulu Ford Service today and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a car dealership. I have a 2021 Gt mustang that needed a recall and warranty work. The warranty work was for eit worst experiences I’ve ever had with a car dealership. I have a 2021 Gt mustang that needed a recall and warranty work. The warranty work was for either a thrust washer or axel nut because the car makes a popping and clicking sound when putting it in reverse and drive. There is also a TSB out for this problem. The recall was done but the warranty work was not done. The “service adviser” Alissa informed me that because I had a modified suspension (lowering springs, vertical links, toe links and subframe support) the warranty work was not done. She said that they don’t touch modified things and that the suspension was making the sound. I informed her that the drive train was making the sound and not the suspension. It was making the sound 30 days after I purchased it and no modifications were done at that time. I informed her that I explained the TSB for the thrust washer and axel when I called to make the reservation for service. She said do you want to leave it here to get it looked at again but I doubt anything would be done because of the suspension modifications. I informed her I would take it somewhere else because I know have zero confidence in their mechanics because the thought it was the suspension when it is very obvious it is a drivetrain/axel problem if you actually put it on a lift and really inspect it. It’s sad because after the great buying I had with my brand new Explorer st I thought I had found a great Ford dealership. We are shopping for a new gt mustang for my daughter and it looks like I will be looking elsewhere. Stay away from their service department. Their mechanics are very incompetent. More
Eric Blazek is five star employee even though I didn’t buy the Lightning, he provides accurate and on time information. Eric is a new breed of sales associate in a business that is sometimes less than des buy the Lightning, he provides accurate and on time information. Eric is courteous, respectful, breath of fresh air and I would recommend him to everyone who dreads car shopping. Give him a call and you will be astonished by this new breed of salesman. It will be the best call you make for a Ford vehicle. Eric will not disappoint you! Try him and you will walk away very happy. Eric got me a great deal, even though I didn’t buy the Lightning. You may be asking yourself why didn’t I buy, I would have, but circumstances prevented me from finishing the deal with Eric. If anyone remember’s the financial crash of 2008, during President Obama’s time. All the big car makers took the government financial bailout and FORD did NOT! Buy American, buy Ford. More
