I have been buying cars for my Company as well as personal use from Honolulu Ford for over 20 years. My very first vehicle I purchased from Honolulu Ford was through Ben Cabalo and I told myself wow personal use from Honolulu Ford for over 20 years. My very first vehicle I purchased from Honolulu Ford was through Ben Cabalo and I told myself wow that was a "pleasant experience" all my prior experiences with other dealerships and car salesmen left me with a very negative attitude towards car salesmen, I was always on guard and felt like I had to be aggressive and mean in order to get a fair deal. Ben Cabalo was the exception to my rule and I found myself able to trust him very much after that initial experience. Since then we have probably purchased or leased over 30 vehicles from Ben and I tell all my business associates who like me are extremely busy business people with no time for games to call Ben. I really like the fact that I simply can call him with what I require and don’t even ask price because I know he will treat us extremely fair and I don’t have to worry about anything, I can have everything set up over the phone and he handles everything and when I arrive I am out in and out in less than 20 minutes driving away with the car or truck I wanted, Ben calls me all the time to ask how our vehicles are doing as well as asks about the business and family and I really feel like he truly cares, He remembers my wife’s name, Kids names, schools they attend sports they play etc......... He has delivered cars to my business in the past when I was too busy to stop by the dealership or has dropped me off when I was in there for a service call etc..... So for all of you who want to deal with a straight shooter, no games, very fair and trustworthy sales man, I can honestly say that Ben Cabalo is by far the only choice. Dealership was very accomodating with getting me in without an appointment. My trucks electrical system was giving me trouble. My adivsor Damon was pleasent and made me feel welcome. The Service manager introduced himeself to me while I was waiting in the customer lounge. I spent several minutes with Mr Stevens while I explained the trouble I had been having with the truck. He made me feel welcome and that went a long way to turning an unpleasent problem into a bearable inconvience. Being new to Oahu I was worried about the service I would recieve, would it be on a par with my dealer in California and I was impressed that it was in many was better than what I was accustomed to. I was referred to Art Tsukamoto some time ago. When I was ready to buy...guess who I contacted...Art! I had owned a Ford van years ago and found the product to be dependable and maintenance really reasonabl ready to buy...guess who I contacted...Art! I found him to be professional, friendly, articulate, candid, caring and knows his product! He goes the extra mile! About several weeks after purchasing my new Escape...I had a mechanical glitch and could not get my car started. I was stuck and did not know what to do and it was a Sunday! I picked up my cell and press the number for Honolulu Ford and left a message...thinking no one will call me back. Several minutes later...I receive a call and it was Art! A voice from heaven! He asked what was my situation and where I was. And he said he will be there in a few minutes...and sure enough, he came to my rescue! He was able to resolve my dilemma and got the engine started...and I was a happy camper again! I was so thankful and so impressed with the fact that he came to my rescue even on this day off. He goes beyond and not only sold me a super Ford Escape with great terms...but he truly cares about his customers! I without hesitation will always refer Art Tsukamoto to my family, friends and co-workers...strangers too who are looking for a new Ford product! Kevin Nesmith is super and gives great customer service! Whenever I bring my car in he is always friendly and assures me that the repair will be taken care of and gives me a time as when it will be ready. And sure enough...just as he promised! He is someone that I trust will do the right thing for me which in the end will be the right thing for him and his dealership. Highly recommend Art! As for financing, delivery, service & repair - I don't have any experience in those areas yet to judge the dealership but am very hopeful that they are of the same quality and caliper as Art. More
