In the end, we were given 4 options of purchasing versus leasing, 2 years versus 3 years, $3000 down versus $5000 down and the resulting monthly payments. It was the most painless car purchase we have ever had. We give the staff at Honolulu Ford high marks and particluarly want to thank Brian Hashimoto for his help. After a less than stellar experience at Cutter Ford I decided to take my business to Honolulu Ford. I was new on island and without transportation. I called and was greeted on the phone by Sales PROFESS decided to take my business to Honolulu Ford. I was new on island and without transportation. I called and was greeted on the phone by Sales PROFESSIONAL Don Minnis. I explained my situation to Don and he made arrangements to get me to the dealership. Sounds pretty normal because most dealerships have shuttle service, but this was after 7 pm and the shuttle service was closed for the day. Don drove to pick me up at my home himself! He was very friendly and professional the whole way to the dealership. I was in the market for basic point A to point B transportation so I was looking for a entry level fiesta. When I told Don I have X-plan pricing he welcomed that and even suggested I look at a Focus. I explained that a Focus was probably more than I wanted to spend for a 3rd vehicle. Don looked into my x-plan price and with rebates and incentives I was able to buy my brand new 2013 Ford Focus SE for less than I would have spent on a Fiesta with fewer options. I got a roomier vehicle with many many more standard features that I would have ever hoped for at this price point and I did it UNDER my budgeted amount! When we got to the sales desk the sales manager on duty Mickey Vierra found another $500 rebate I was eligible for. I was also greeted by the President of Honolulu Ford Mr.Mark Benson while I was working my deal. He was very friendly and accommodating. From start to finish my transaction on Honolulu Ford was BY FAR THE BEST AUTO BUYING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I have purchased 5 Fords and at least 5 other brand vehicles in my lifetime, and I have never been treated as professionally as I was on January 2nd at Honolulu Ford. I would recommend Honolulu Ford to any and everyone I know if they are in the market for a vehicle! More
