Honda of the Avenues - Service Center

DO NOT TRUST - SERVICE DEPT I have been going there for last 4 years, until then i realized that they recommend things that are not required with hefty price. I have encounter several problems specific to SERVICE area 1) I have honda fit , while doing the oil change they also do the courtesy external CAR WASH, why they did they broke my rear wiper, i was told that when i come next time they will order part for me and will be fixed. The guy didn't took note to his system, so next time when i went there they again said the same thing it has to order but asked me to call manager Bill whom he may be able to help..as i was caught up with other work i didn't call for several months. Finally i called and talked to Bill and he was suspicious that i was lying and words were not good when he spoke to me. I made several attempts to fix that that they mistakenly did, but they always tell that they have to order part and they don't have it and call this or that person.. FRUSTRATED AND YET HAVE NOT FIXED IT. 2) There was problem with my Honda fit with some issues about the vibration, the service guy told me that you have to spend some hefty amount and that too he was not sure if that will fix it.. FRUSTRATED.. i any way told him to fix it and yet again the problem was not fixed. This is the experiment they do .. wow if there is problem they will not say staignt away the cost and sure shot fix , but i was surprised by guys answer that they will fix some thing and will see if that will fix or not after spending hefty amount 3) I see there was some damages in my tires, the old service guy suggested me to replace tires asap , as he said that it can flat any time, and to change both rare tires. I was scared and took second option in TIREPLUS they said it was just cosmetic and no need to change tire asap, i have been running with that tire for year now. Overall i just went to do oil change for many years, but when it came down to servicing the car, they are not equipped with good service, and have not stopped taking my car to this dealership as they CHARGE more more and not sure about their service and are not responsible. save you time and money go to other dealership not this one. More

AC Check I brought my Accord in for an AC check. The diagnosis was low Freon and the Blend Door(never heard of it before LOL) was jammed. Nonetheless, all is I brought my Accord in for an AC check. Had a "strange" noise and knew I had problems On Monday morning I heard a strange noise from under the hood. Thinking Monday would be very busy I called and asked what I should do and if they cou On Monday morning I heard a strange noise from under the hood. Thinking Monday would be very busy I called and asked what I should do and if they could see me that day. The Service Associate told me the best time to arrive and that he would set an appt. for me. When I got there I waited for the diagnostics to be done...sure enough a bad alternator. Because they were booked for the day but promised to get the work done, they gave me a rental car so I could carry on my business for the day and return at the end of the day. This way it would not rush them and I would not waste time. It was a lifesaver! Really appreciate the great work while meeting the customer's needs. More

A Positive Experience Service-while-you-wait worked very well for me. The facility was pleasant and comfortable. The time required was actually shorter than I expected. Bobby Howard explained the new Honda servicing schedule that is not based on mileage since the car tells you what it needs and when it needs it. It works for me. More
