I was had a out the door price quote in the form of an Email from an employee and when I returned to start the purchasing process Honda of the Avenues would not honor this price. They attempted to quote m Email from an employee and when I returned to start the purchasing process Honda of the Avenues would not honor this price. They attempted to quote me a price that was substantially higher. The salesperson indicated the employee I had worked with one week earlier no longer worked there. The impression was they fired him. This dealership was also offering a up to $2,500 above the trade in value. They attempted to offer me only $2,500 for my trade-in. A 2002 F150 with low mileage. Essentially they were attempting to offer me $0 for the trade in. I would not recommend this high pressure, make a sales at all cost dealership. More

And instead of focusing on the gadgets in the Honda Pilot, he spent considerable time explaining its numerous safety features--an important subject considering I will be using the Pilot to transport my family. I do not own a cell phone. Ross was gracious enough to let me use his cell phone several times so that I could call my wife at home and get the necessary information I needed to complete the sales application. Rory also answered all of my questions about financing my vehicle. He also took the time to research and advise me on additional financing options I had not considered. Nick explained the Consumer Reports pricing that I obtained. I was only planning to look at vehicles and not purchase a new one on Saturday. As a result, I drove my wife's Honda Odyssey to the dealership instead of my Subaru Forester that I was planning to trade in. After the sale was completed, Nick drove my new Honda Pilot home while I drove the Honda Odyssey home. Nick put the license plate from my Subaru Forester on my new Honda Pilot and drove my Subaru Forester back to the dealership. Since I live on the opposite side of town from the dealership, Nick's gesture was a prime example of "going the extra mile" for the customer. If Honda used the Net Promoter Score (NPS) that many companies use in their customer surveys, I would have to give a rating of "10" (on a scale from 0-10) for the "ultimate" question, "How likely would you recommend Honda of the Avenues to a friend or colleague?" After doing research including a new car report from Consumer Reports and using their Build and Buy program I selected four local dealerships to visit. My intentions were to visit each and buy from the Consumer Reports and using their Build and Buy program I selected four local dealerships to visit. My intentions were to visit each and buy from the one offering the best deal. I obtained the name of Nick Bowman through my online research and ask for him at the dealership's reception desk. From the outset he was attentive and conveyed an understanding my situation and what I was looking for. It turns out that I spent most of the day at this one dealership and bought an Accord that I am delighted with. I was initially almost overwhelmed with the sophisticated electronic controls for the various functions on this vehicle and was impressed that Nick spent an hour with me four days after the sale assisting me in understanding certain aspects of these functions. Any dealership with employees of this caliber and willingness to assist after the sale deserves a thumbs up and support. Buck Goss More
