I really enjoyed working with Nick, he was the first I really enjoyed working with Nick, he was the first salesman that didn't act shady (for the most part) or rude while I was shopping around for cars. He was was also the first car salesman that actually listened to what I wanted rather than trying to force me to buy a car I don't want, which was very important to me. He treated me like a human being and not a paycheck. His only flaw would have to be how when I asked certain questions he left things extremely ambiguous, like "I think it's pretty clear" and then he'd ramble something incoherent. I mean if it were clear, I obviously wouldn't be asking. I'm not sure if he did this because he was trying to hide information or if he didn't know the answer but in the case of the latter I could appreciate some honesty and just say I don't know and then find out. I could understand that since he was new and had only been there for a for weeks. I half suspect he was trained to do that though. Sad really. The dealership itself is very aggressive in trying to get you to buy a car. Aside from Nick, I got the impression that they really don't want to earn your business. You will hear them ask you over and over "can we have your business today?" when I'm thinking they already had it if I said I'll be back on a specific date. They might as well just ask if you're paying today, because after the first two times you figure out that's what they mean. When I shop around for cars I'm also shopping for a salesman. I like to ask questions I already know the answers to. The first guy I worked with pushed me over the edge with lies. I'm not going to do business with someone who doesn't listen, acts shady, is rude, or treats me like a meal ticket. I think I lucked out with Nick and next time I'm buying a car I'll just order it online and pick it up, because I can't deal. Car salesmen are for the birds. More
I just came to Jacksonville 5 days ago and decided to get new Honda Accord 2013 for our transportation. I was doing research online and found Honda of Avenues gave me the lowest price out of 4 dealers in Jac new Honda Accord 2013 for our transportation. I was doing research online and found Honda of Avenues gave me the lowest price out of 4 dealers in Jacksonville. Justin Mckittrick is an great sales man. He guided me through all the steps, explained in details about the car and how to get the cheapest price that fit my budget. Definitely will come back here to get another car for my wife. Great service and hospitality!!! More
4.5 yrs. ago we bought a certified car from them and had a great experience. Now in 2013 we need another vehicle so we went back thinking we would get quality service & a great car. Our salesman, Shawn is new- he wasn't educated about Honda's, he was unprofessional, & even though we told him specifically what we were looking for & our budget, he bypassed it completely. Then Lionel ran our credit and assured us we could get almost anything we wanted & they'd work with payments. We went back a few days later & Lionel didn't work there anymore. I fell in love with a 2011 Civic & a 2012 Civic. We were promised by Tolga & Keith they would get our payments where they needed to be to fit our budget. For almost 2 wks. & several hours of our time they dragged us around giving us false hope. They didn't care that we had been there before, purchased a car, & paid it off 8 mos. early. They all were rude & inconsiderate. Customers were standing around with no one to assist them. It's a shame how downhill HOTA has went. We will never do business with them again, nor will we recommend them. We are disappointed. We were also told they weren't making any profit, but losing money- when in reality if they would have gotten our payments right they would have made over $14,000! This place is a joke. More
I dealt with Atik as my primary sales person. He was going on vacation and introduced me to Derrick gayle. Derrick was cool. I met Rory Broderick as i was leaving. He is a great sales person. I would recommend all 3 very highly. More
Unfriendly, uncaring attitude. Seemed focused on what he couldn't do rather than what he could do. That's when he wasn't insulting my car. Stay away if all you want is your car fixed with a minimum of hassle. More
When i first drove the car a was interested in a Mazda Prodge lx the front end shook I told Dan no the car shakes,he said to leave the car and it could be the tiers need balancing or alinment i left the c Prodge lx the front end shook I told Dan no the car shakes,he said to leave the car and it could be the tiers need balancing or alinment i left the car,went back the next day drove it home and it was doing the same thing.I called Dan and was told to bring it back.when they put the car on the lift and found the REAL problem it was Barrings link and sway bar,and my cost (after being told if i had Any problems bring it and we will fix it)would 180.00 and they would fix it.I told them Dan said to bring it in and you would fix the what was wrong with it.after debateing back and fourth the service manager said he would fix it no cost to me,to come back Thrusday cause it would take two days to get new parts for the car.WOW on wednesday morning all of a sudden it was fixed.WELL" NOT" nothing was done to car no new parts just greased my tiers were not balanced nor was there no no Barrings or sway bar and my car is still shaking on the drivers side.SO MUCH FOR WE CARE.I should have never bought this 2002 Mazda Prodage.Now i have to find a place to take my car to fix the things I was lied to about. More

Thought of giving a shot at avenues after another another dealership tried to upsell my loan with a higher interest against the honda offer of 0.9% for Accord LX. Michael showed me the cars and he was very pleasing. They have a good selection. As usual I heard a short version of their story of MSRP and invoice price.... I quoted a price that was less than couple of hundred dollar from my initial dealership and Michels which was turned down by his manager. As a last step I have quoted 100 dollars less than the other dealership and I was just 180 dollars away from avenues last quote. After a short conversation, Michels manager threw the quote in trash in front of me and he didnt want to do business with me....Slap on my face ????? So be prepared for all usual sales tricks. I couldn't catch his name. i will update later...reducing the rating slightly for the hiccups.. Atiq stepped in as I was ready to walk out (I did so many times with others ) and he read my mind where I actually had issue with the other dealership.Atiqs assessment in my actual needs (not the price always) and hospitality of mike made the sale. slightly more than my lowest quote..but I got a full tank of fuel.. Atiq got me the loan package I needed and the transaction was really smooth and it was faster...I spend only 2-3 hours in the dealer ship to get the delivery. Mike helped me in dropping my rental to the airport at 9.30 PM and his hospitality was really appreciative. He wouldn't take a tip from me, he even refused to take a gift card that had in my wallet. Long story short, if you are shopping at JAX it is worth stopping at avenues before you pull the trigger. More
