LOTS of Fixes -- Little time I was hoping to get a lot of things done all at once, but there was no way. Parts had to be ordered and I was not going home in my own car. Julian w I was hoping to get a lot of things done all at once, but there was no way. Parts had to be ordered and I was not going home in my own car. Julian was great! He constantly kept me updated about the status during my wait. I am disappointed that the dealership restricts shuttle service to 15 miles, especially when I live in Orange Park. That really should be expanded to at least a 30 mile radius since Jacksonville is the largest (in size) city in the US! Had it not been for Julian's patience and ability to find an option that worked for me, I would have probably just taken my vehicle to another place. More

2 "certified" Used Cars - Coming right up! Oh man, I have waited MONTHS to post this review. Because that’s exactly how long it’s taken to repair the “certified” used cars that I purchased. T Oh man, I have waited MONTHS to post this review. Because that’s exactly how long it’s taken to repair the “certified” used cars that I purchased. That’s right 2 cars! I mean – they were HONDA CERTIFIED 120395786 point inspected and came with a fabulous warranty, where could I possibly go wrong. Let’s see where to start…. Let’s start with this; my initial intent was to provide a spectacular review. Really, I gave these people an impossible task and they were able to get pretty close to my goal. CHECK – good job HOA! Then, as I looked back at the entire process of obtaining the “certified” used cars a few things stuck out. Joe was not willing to budge on the price of the second car, not one penny. But then agreed on the “WE OWE” to repair a few obvious scratches and ding the rear tail light. Later we can discuss the outcome, but the “WE OWE” stated “touch up rear bumper”. Please remember – Touch up and repair are completely different words. Joe and Nataly were playing my family with fun words from the get go. Also, we were given $100.00 for our trade in. Now to be fair, this car was totally a xxx. Through and through - $100.00 was still a bit of a low blow. Nonetheless, we were happy with our purchases. Two “certified” (notice my constant use of quotations) used cars! We got Apollo (FABULOUS FINANCING GUY!) to fight for a lower interest rate and when he couldn’t get exactly what we wanted, he convinced Joe to give us a whopping $500.00 for our trade in to balance out the cost of losing .5% on the interest rate. Not a bad Deal – THANK YOU APOLLO! Keep up the good work man! Moving right along, we drove our new cars home…YAY FABULOUS!! The next morning I woke up to a puddle of OIL in my BRAND NEW driveway from the Civic. Honda put us through the express lane and repaired what they called a “faulty oil filter” and sent us on our way. The next day (absolutely no accident of Honda) we woke up to a simi flat tire on the accord, certain nail. The car place down the road (CHECK!) does free tire repairs. Good right? Yeah, “Ma’am we cant fix your tire, you don’t have a wheel lock key”…Shoot. I called Honda and they promised to add that to the list of “WE OWE” and that when I brought my car in they would take care of this matter for me. They even agreed to fix the tire. (It got repaired, but not without hassle – the manager of the service department detaches himself from anything concerning to the CUSTOMER…which, seems legit. They “don’t repair flats”…but will if you beg them for assistance because you don’t have a wheel lock key that they should have provided to you to repair the tire yourself…) We got all of the “WE OWES” on the civic done, no problem. Other than the service department was unwilling to PICK up my husband from work (early) when they had already dropped him off. It was too far of a drive, 17.7 miles to be exact. I was told they would go as far as 40…who knows how good my source was. We dropped off the Accord BRIGHT AND EARLY! YAY! The list of tasks on the “we owe” included…repairing (or so i thought) the bumper and replacing the lost ignition key. The wheel lock key was promised to me by, not only by the service department, but also by Nataly and that sly dog Joe. Just to be clear, the keys should have been part of the 120395786 point inspection done on the “certified” used car. Though, I am an understanding person and I get that certain things get “overlooked”. So, I leave my car in the hands of the trusty employees at Honda and have arranged to ride into work with my husband to save HOA the hassle of transporting me 15 miles into downtown. I then shot Nataly a text at 9am reminding her to check on the car and make certain that everything – specifically the wheel lock key – is taken care of. At this point – I am getting tired of driving an hour to HOA for car repairs. This is the 4th trip I’ve made. To be honest, these repairs needed to be completed. I was one flat tire away from being stranded on the side of the road…again. 6pm – I arrive at HOA to pick up the accord and to keep this long story from becoming even LONGER. Guess what?! They forgot the wheel lock key. Well actually the service manager told me “we only do what is on the “we owe”…nothing else”. Now, knowing absolutely nothing about a wheel lock key – I accepted that this was something that couldn’t be done RIGHT NOW. On another note, I was excited that they had agreed to fix the rear corner panel of the Accord and I rushed outside to check it out. I was surprised that HONDA was able to get everything (except the wheel lock key) done in one day. Oh, I was so excited to see the repaired bumper – wait – is that nail polish on the car? I have never seen more of a xxxx poor job in my life – they didn’t even bother with the tail light. HORRIBLE. At this point I’m disgusted at the entire turn out of this situation - I go home – Of course, after forcing Nataly and Joe to physically write me another “WE OWE” for the wheel lock key so that no one is confused. I obviously can’t trust what they say at this point. I got my “WE OWE” and stomped out of Honda - starving – mad – disappointed – and decided that my review was not going to be fabulous any longer. I make my 5th trip to HOA for my OFFICIAL wheel lock key. They tell me this process will take 4 hours. WAIT, WHAT? At this point, I have educated myself on the process of obtaining a new wheel lock key and know that it’s a matter of fitting one of the master keys to my lug and ordering the part. I BEG the gentlemen (and forgive me for not remembering his name because he was the most accomidating person besides Apollo that I have interacted with at Honda) to please just fit the key and let me leave and allow Phillip to order the part. He immidately agreed and had me out the door in 10 minutes. At this point, if I get a flat tire – I am going to cry. I aksed Phillip to please send the key to my home so that I do not have to make my 6th trip to HOA in less than 2 months. He reluctantly stated that MAYBE this is possible. I get home – my toddler is in the driveway excited to see me and I go to roll down the back window to appeal to his excitement – THE WINDOW DOESN’T WORK. Just shoot me now, I haven’t even called about that yet…is it under warranty? I am so sick of HOA. A few days later – my husband gets a nail in his tire. We find out he has no tire wrench or jack in the trunk of his car. The tires on the Accord still need to be aligned and balanced – it drives horrible. I was promised those things and told “it was done” … yet driving that car is like riding on a giant vibrator. Its been 2 weeks since Phillip ordered my wheel lock key – I haven’t seen that bad boy yet…figures. Nor has my call been returned for an ETA on the part. This list goes on…I’m just too exhausted to type any more. I mean – HONESTLY HONDA…what the xxxx do you check during the 120395786 point inspection on your Certified used cars??? More
