They do not listen to what you want, they give you a car that will ensure you get a car via financing. They care not what one really wants and they do not call unless they have been called over 10 times. W that will ensure you get a car via financing. I started test driving Accords with Bob Renauld. Almost every other Accord had a sticker on the window that said up to $5000 off. We started working on the deal and Bob brought back the first numbers. The first thing, I noticed was that there was no discount on the price of the car. The price listed for their car was sticker price. I pointed this out to Bob and he took the paper work back to get another offer. The second offer came back and I told him that I had gotten a better offer from another dealer earlier in the day. Bob goes back and this time Khurram Khan comes back with him. Mr. Khan was very rude. One of the first things he mentioned was why don't I make him a serious offer in a very sarcastic tone. I had done my research on Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds so I knew what their car was worth and mine was worth. After haggling for a few minutes we finally came to an ok offer. I told Mr. Khan that I would have to go home and discuss with my wife. Mr. Khan stated that he did not ask his wife's permission for anything he does and if I had to discuss the deal with my wife that I had no business buying a car. Needless to say I went back to the other dealer the next day. It was like total opposites. I wound up with a whole lot better deal and no attitude. The sales manager even stated that he understood that as consumer that I was out to get the best deal possible. If you have to deal with Mr. Khan, you might as well just walk out. More
I came in to buy a car on 04-17-2012. I began the normal bargaining process with the sales guy. Just when i was about to seal the deal and purchase the vehicle, the business manager, Kurrham Kahn, came up bargaining process with the sales guy. Just when i was about to seal the deal and purchase the vehicle, the business manager, Kurrham Kahn, came up and took over. I asked him what certain fees were on the offer. He then said "you can have it" when i mentioned the trade that i wanted to use. When the price that he brought back was higher than when i spoke to the Sales guy i questioned this. He said,"i have kids your age, i have no idea why you are trying to bargain with me.". I asked him why he was being so disrespectful to a customer. he said "call me when you have money". I had great credit, and higher than average income. I am not sure why the dealer toook into account that i was younger than most of his clients. I felt very cornered. he then embarassed me in front of all of the people in the store by screaming,"get out! GET OUT!". I honestly never raised my voice or gave him any reason to act this way. Do not trust this dealership - Never revealed the used car had been wrecked. Asked for but never received CarFax Report. Should have walked out then. While traveling in Jacksonville in December 2011, our 09 Honda Odyssey (55,763 mi.) started making a loud noise in the back. We immediately took it to Honda of the Avenues to have it checked out, requesting Honda Odyssey (55,763 mi.) started making a loud noise in the back. We immediately took it to Honda of the Avenues to have it checked out, requesting that they test drive it and look at the wheel bearings as a possibility. We were assured they would take it out on the road to check it out. Several hours later we received a call stating there was no problem with the bearings, and blamed the noise on our TIRES. We were informed the bill would be around $100 as an inspection fee, but for $300 we could have the transmission fluid changed, and not charge us for the inspection fee. We gave our approval to do this work. Upon picking up our van, our paperwork stated "tires chopped" and "no noise heard from wheel bearings at this time." (We also noted that the mileage in/out was the same number, so we wondered if they even took it out on the road.) After arriving home, the loud noise continued and got worse. We then took our van into a Goodyear Tire dealer to check out the tires. We were informed that the tires were fine, wearing well, and were not chopped. They then proceeded to show us the BAD WHEEL BEARINGS on the left rear tire -- THE VERY THING WE REQUESTED TO BE CHECKED. We then called Honda Customer Service, who instructed us to take the vehicle in to the nearest dealer, Brandon Honda. They checked the noise and replaced the bearings on the left rear wheel. This work was covered under the vehicle warranty, and they gave us excellent service. I would not recommend Honda of the Avenues to my worst enemy, and have told this incident to our many family and friends in the Jacksonville area. More
Just the over all sale was wonderful. This is my 4 honda and I keep going back because everyone is ready to help you and answer any questions that you might have. My new 2012 CRV is beautiful. We just leased a new CR-V. I called and spoke with Jim Warren. Our time was very limited and he handled about 90% of the paperwork ahead of time.
