Honda worst customer service at 'Honda of the Avenues' I had the worst customer service at Honda. The Story: I dropped my 2003 Honda CRV at the Honda of the Avenues for two reasons. To get the vehicle I had the worst customer service at Honda. The Story: I dropped my 2003 Honda CRV at the Honda of the Avenues for two reasons. To get the vehicle recall taken care of. Also there was a rattling sound from under the hood. Asked to look into it. I was told I need to pay 105.00 for the diagnostic service. I agreed. I got a call form Matt Rennie, said that my water pump needs to be replaced and that it costs around $ 800.00. I said I will call him back after I make a decision. He said that it is risky to drive the car with water pump leaking. I decided to go with the Tire Kingdom as they were charging $ 300.00 less. This is 11 years old car so I did not care much about where I get this done. Returned back to the dealer and said to Matt that I will be taking the car. By this time the car was with the dealer for 3.5 hrs. Matt says that the recall is not taken care of. I asked him why was it not taken care of. He said that I did not get back to him. I said I was about to get back to him on Water pump issue not the Vehicle Recall. I asked Matt if he can waive the diagnostic fee as I use the dealer regularly for the service for both my CRV and 2014 Pilot. He pointed to a service man and said " This guy does not work for free". I asked him if I can leave a feed back on this issue. He said "We send feedback requests to the customers, but your car is too old. We don't send feed back requests on this car". I will never again use this dealer or any other Honda dealer. I will never buy a Honda vehicle again. Will never suggest one to any one. Matt has never used the words 'Thanks' or 'Sorry'. I don't care much about 'Sorry' but not using 'Thanks' as a customer service? I have Honda Pilot and CRV. I have no problem with the quality of the cars. After this experience I am out of the Honda Circle. When I mentioned to Matt that I will get the water pump replaced at Tire Kingdom, Matt said "You get what you pay for". From the experience I got from him, this quote doesn't make sense. Or may be its true. This is the level of customer service you get from Honda. May be I should go for BMW or Mercedes. More

Alternator repair I'm a 5 time Honda owner and my 2006 Honda Pilot is a GREAT vehicle and our family car. The engine started to make whining noises and the battery lig I'm a 5 time Honda owner and my 2006 Honda Pilot is a GREAT vehicle and our family car. The engine started to make whining noises and the battery light came on. We quickly drove to Honda of the Avenues with no appointment. Josh Stodel greeted us, quickly and correctly assessed that it was likely the alternator. He was courteous and respectful to my family and gave us an accurate estimate on checking out the probably causes, the cost and repair time. Once the repair was done, Josh offered for me to test drive it before I paid to make sure I was 100% satisfied. When I returned from my test drive I saw Josh test driving completed cars. I'm impressed by this level of customer service. I appreciate Josh acknowledging past service I have had done at the Avenues. Thank you , Josh and Robert (technician) for taking care of my Pilot, so I could get my family SUV back on the road again. More
64000 mile checkup - over the top customer service I am a 7 time Honda owner and love my van. I always get great service at Honda at the Avenues, but this time was exceptional. My long time advisor, Bob Mandele, had not arrived yet and the shuttle had left and wouldnt be back for some time, so the advisor who wrote me up introduced me to Pedro who graciously agreed to let me drive my car back to my office (thats 5 minutes away) and he would return it for its scheduled service appointment. Pedro and I talked and chatted like we were OLD friends and I was back to work in less than 20 minutes. Bob called to tell me that my car was ready, went over any issues they found and Kathy the shuttle driver came and promptly came and picked me up so that I could come get my car. Another great experience with Bob and the service department! More

Great Service, No Complaints Here I went in for an alignment. When I called to set up the appointment, I was told 1-2 hours depending on the severity of the mis-alignment. Most dealerships offer a maintenance plan (example 5 oil changes in a year for $85.00) I purchased that with my Dodge and BMW dealerships. More
