extra damages Took an 03 odyssey in for an airbag recall, was put in a rental car for the time taken, service was all friendly. Was told it would be handled by a gu Took an 03 odyssey in for an airbag recall, was put in a rental car for the time taken, service was all friendly. Was told it would be handled by a guy named James. 5 hours into the work, I call to check on things. A very angry James answers, saying he can't start the car. I tell him twist the key in the method indicated on the side of the ignition panel. He says okay. When I get the van back, the ignition catches and I have to try it twice, unusual but not enough to make me interrupt my day. The next morning, however, nothing will convince the key to turn. That's when I noticed the scratch marks on the keyslot, along with a stretching in the thin metal surrounding, as if someone had stuck a screwdriver in trying to make room. The ignition had never been been a problem before. I called to say "hey, I think you broke my ignition." Mr james gave me one of the rudest phone calls I've ever had with someone on the phone, saying he didn't know who "I think I am". He argued that "we did what you told us so it wasn't damaged". In fact, they talked to me WHEN I CALLED THEM after five hours of them wrestling with something they should have been able to handle. So that was a lie. I asked, "did it get stuck on you?" He said "yes it got stuck every time" They should have called me immediately if there was any trouble. But instead, they pushed forward for five hours, damaging parts, and promising a legal fight if I tried to replace it. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to fight this, I needed my car to run. He greeted me with such an upbeat I came in for an oil change, I wasn't sure where to go because it was so busy, and Bobby Howard came to the rescue.
