NIck worked hard to woo me away from another dealership who was competing for my business, and ultimately won me over by his enthusiasm for what he did, his willingness to negotiate, and his knowledge of t who was competing for my business, and ultimately won me over by his enthusiasm for what he did, his willingness to negotiate, and his knowledge of the class of car I was looking at (CR-V). When I was on the fence between dealerships (each offering great deals, slightly different packages), and could not commit to either one, Nick continued to work on making a deal. He never quit, even going so far as to locate the vehicle at a factory, have it shipped over and detailed and ready to go - with or without my final word. I ended up leasing a 2014 CR-V with leather seats, rear-camera and sunroof and love everything about it. My experience with Nick and the Finance guy was great and I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a no-hassel place to buy a car. I must also give an honorable mention to the service department. There was a technical glitch with the cruise-control that I noticed the first week I had the car, and although it was a hassle to deal with this early on, Melanie at the service department went above and beyond to make sure that the issue was taken care of, that a rental vehicle was provided to me free of charge while they fixed the issue - and, most of all, that I was taken care of. She called as soon as she knew what was wrong, and we made arrangements to have an after hours pick up of my car since I get out of work late. I have never been so impressed with a dealership, and highly recommend them. More
To be honest, I dreaded going to a car dealership because they have not always been the best experience. That is not what happened at all. Eric Peele was very professional, actually listened to what my needs were, and for the most part delivered what I was looking for on all counts. Those things that he could not give were all reasonable. He completely changed what I expected to be a bad experience into one that was actually pleasant and professionally handled. He was very sincere and was remarkably calm and accommodating. More
Updated Review: This was our first auto purchase from Honda of Westport. Bulk of the pricing negotiation was done ahead of time for our very specific vehicle of interest. He is very friendly, easy to work with and knowledgeable about the cars. Ryan provided detailed information on all our questions and on available service options at the dealership but without adding any pressure to purchase them. On the whole, we had a pleasant experience working with Ryan and purchasing our new vehicle from Honda of Westport. We would recommend Ryan Riggs in Sales and Honda of Westport Dealership to our friends looking to purchase a new car in the future. Further Update: We observed a small paint scratch spot on the vehicle after bringing the vehicle home. Upon showing to Ryan, his first comment to me was, "What can I do to make you happy"! Ryan's this comment reflected, his care and understanding for the customers which is praise worthy! He also immediately ordered the touch up paint tube! Good customer care after the sales of the vehicles, will bring good reputation and more referral business to Ryan and the dealership! More
This is the third time we tried to buy a Honda at Honda of Westport and it was the charm. The first two times they could not meet the price offered by another dealership, and frankly they were not friendl of Westport and it was the charm. Ryan Riggs is a very friendly and knowledgeable sales consultant who works hard to establish a connection and give truthful information. When he is not sure he checks! We spent much time on the phone and on email with Ryan and the sales manager trying to make this deal happen and they got it to work. We are pleased we could buy our car locally and glad to be treated with kindness and respect. More
