Honda CRV Purchase Was Pleasure and I Saved Money! I had nearly closed a car purchase with a Honda dealer, located in the Clinton CT area.. I was purchasing a 2016 Honda CRV-AWD. At the last moment, I I had nearly closed a car purchase with a Honda dealer, located in the Clinton CT area.. I was purchasing a 2016 Honda CRV-AWD. At the last moment, I received several calls from Darlene Miller, a Sales Associate at Honda of Westport. She was able to beat (what I thought to be a fair price) my original deal by over $1300,00, and she offered me $400.00 more for my 08 Prius trade in; this was a $1700.00 total difference in my favor! At first I was skeptical. I visited Honda of Westport the following day. I closed the deal on the spot, and drove home with a new car! I was treated with care and concern by Darlene Miller, Sales Associate, Jon Peyser, Finance Director, and all the various staff I dealt with that day at the dealership. Follow up by the dealership has been excellent. They are truly concerned to see that I am pleased with my new vehicle. Great ExperienceI I've leased and bought Hondas from this dealership for a long time, as did my father before me. Granted, the last time was 2001, but that just speaks I've leased and bought Hondas from this dealership for a long time, as did my father before me. Granted, the last time was 2001, but that just speaks for the quality of Hondas that my good old Civic might have tired a bit cosmetically, but she still ran like a dream! But, alas, it was finally time to lease a new Civic and Vytas "VG" Gardauskas couldn't have been more pleasant and patient. I think he sensed I was a bit nervous since it had been such a long time. But he explained everything carefully and even had a Civic in the color I thought I would want brought down from Bridgeport (and it was the one I ultimately leased!). When it came to the financial end, I also have to commend Jonathan Peyser for his patience and humor. All in all, it was a very positive experience and I'm loving my new Civic.
