Subpar Customer Service We had an appointment for service on Saturday, October 13th at 9:30am. I called the servicing department on Thursday to ensure the car can be dropped off Friday evening and serviced the following morning because my mother was asked to work last-minute on Saturday morning. I was reassured that the car can be dropped off and upon dropping off on Friday evening, I informed 2 people in the servicing department that the car was outside and the key was in the drop box. At 9:30am on Saturday morning, I called the servicing department to check on the status of our appointment and was informed the drop box had not yet been checked so they had not taken in the car. I politely asked the worker to give either me or my mother a call when the car was taken in and there was an idea or update as to what was going on with the car. We never received a call, but when my mother was dropped off at the dealership at noon on Saturday, she was told that her appointment was cancelled and her car would be serviced around 5:00pm after all the other cars were seen because we did not fill out the "What time will you pick up?" slot on the drop box sheet. I did not fill that portion out because we were unsure what was wrong with the car and how long it would take to fix it; the question was not "When do you need the car back by?" So instead of the service department taking 5 minutes to give one of two numbers provided on the sheet a call to ask about this matter, they chose to inconvenience my mother by hours by voiding her appointment. They did end up taking the car in for servicing briefly after my mother and I had a word with the worker. The next day while my mother was driving the car, she heard a snap under the car and pulled over. There was black oil all over the passenger side tire, door, and under the car. I am sure it is no coincidence that this happened after being serviced in Watertown. I have since called Honda of Watertown to inform them of the situation and Carol in servicing was nothing short of kind and sympathetic to the situation; she has been the only worker at this branch that has upheld the values of good customer service. We chose to contact the Honda in Torrington, CT for service since then and they have been extremely helpful. More
Terrible Awful. Atrocious. I can not even begin to explain how poorly I was treated. When my tires were stolen off my car they were careless. I first called to Awful. Atrocious. I can not even begin to explain how poorly I was treated. When my tires were stolen off my car they were careless. I first called to talk to Reuben, the service manager. I inquired about a rental car while my car was being serviced and told him I was 20. He went to double check and said “we’ll be able to take care of it for you.” When I got there he told me no, that he couldn’t do anything for me. No apology, instead when I mentioned “I can buy a car from you but can’t rent one” he told me “you didn’t buy it from me.” I bought 2 cars from Honda of Watertown. Unprofessional and condescending and certainly stemmed from my young age. They kept my car for over 2 weeks, never called to update me, and continued to push the estimated completion time back when I called them. Once I got my car back, I noticed they only replaced 3 out of the 4 rims and left the damaged one on my car despite the insurance estimate clearly stating to replace 4 rims. They claim they don’t know where the mixup occurred and I had to return to the dealership again. Overall a very poor place where you spend thousands of dollars and they treat you like absolute garbage. I will not buy or service from this dealership any longer. I have told my coworkers, friends and family to avoid this dealership, it’s not worth the trouble when you can go elsewhere. If you value money, time and self respect, I highly recommend going elsewhere. More
Horrible and dishonest We bought a 2010 Honda Fit in May 2017. Only because sales person said that was all we could afford or the bank has approved. The car was okay. We not We bought a 2010 Honda Fit in May 2017. Only because sales person said that was all we could afford or the bank has approved. The car was okay. We noticed missing all rugs and a few other things (used vehicle). After driving the car for three months, we noticed the engine light came on and the D light blinking. Took it to the dealer and of course, they wanted to charge $145 for a diagnosis (plug into the computer a get a code). I decided not to do it there but instead go to the nearest Autozone and have them plug in for free. After getting the code, we realized it might be the transmission fluid. I took the car to a near by shop where they went to the Honda dealer and bought transmission oil and replaced it, mind you the one already in the vehicle was black and transmission fluid is supposed to be pink. Apparently, they sold us a car that supposedly is certified, but they never did a change of transmission fluid or even oil change. Sold us a car that has never been in service in God knows how long. I contacted the manager and let them know what was going on, and they were very good at first and asked me to bring the car in and that they are going to diagnose the problem free of charge. When they called me back to let me know what was going on the service person tries to tell me that the wrong transmission fluid was used and that it will cost about $250 to flush and replace and that might be part of the problem. When I spoke to the manager himself said that there was no record of this vehicle ever being serviced. So if that's so why I have to pay for repairs that were there when the car was bought. The transmission fluid is the correct one and is not over full this job was done by a professional mechanic and have paper work to prove that oil was bought at Honda. After hearing that it will cost me $250 to replace oil and that might not even be an issue and that it might cost more and might need a new transmission because they sold us junk car I told them to forget it. Honda is a rip off they know what they are doing but believe me will not get a penny from me and no longer will be their customer.. I was thinking about buying another car but no way not there. They have done this to many times; my sister had a similar incident happen to her as well. They sell you the car, and if you don't ask for extended warranty, they don't even offer it. The car will last three months exactly when their warranty is over, and then you are stuck with pricey repairs and dishonest people. My mom worked so hard for this car to help transport my disable child and this is what we get JUNK. More

When I called again to see if I could ju 'made an appointment for an air bag recall replacement on a Thursday or Friday for a Monday morning drop off. When I called again to see if I could just drop the car off on Saturday, they said I didn't have an appointment. I made another one, again, just to drop it off on Saturday and pick it up on Monday. When I went to drop it off, they wouldn't let me just do that, they wanted me to see a "service associate". I waited long enough to see a lot of people coming in and out without anyone being waited on that were ahead of me in line. All the while, I see my car just running outside. After I saw one guy get passed on to someone else and still the people in line in front of me not getting serviced, I had enough and cancelled my appointment. Maybe Saturdays are just bad, but I had a much better experience at Sullivan Honda--just dropped it off and picked it up the next day. More

Not Satisfied at all. WORST Experience. Felt Ripped Off. I had a issue with my car when my Roof started leaking from the A-Pillar area. Very common problem with Honda's (found by searching Accord Forums). I I had a issue with my car when my Roof started leaking from the A-Pillar area. Very common problem with Honda's (found by searching Accord Forums). I called Honda and they said take to the dealer and they will take it from there if its a Manufacturing issue. Plus i needed Oil Change and Tire Rotation and Alignment. I called to setup for an appointment and agreed to pay diagnosis fee of $120 which will be applied towards the repair in case Honda doesn't cover it. Dropped the vehicle off and Brian was taking care of my car plus got me the loaner. 1pm got the call from Brian that Honda Rep agreed to cover Half the cost. Half of which was exactly the amount equivalent to Diagnosis fee. Trust me I was not surprised at all. After that GOTCHA started coming: 1.) He told me i have a bad axle seal & that is very dangerous to the transmission and a safety issue... Made it feel like sky is going to fall if I didn't take care of it. Which i had no idea but it might be possible so i agreed.. 2.) He told me my front brakes were totally gone less then 2mm. I said ok how much to replace. Just replacing the pads and machining the rotors $250. Wow... Not surprised. I said Ok... Asked him to bring the price down as its too expensive for Just the pads. He told me, "I AM ALREADY DOING YOU A FAVOR BY HAVING HONDA PAY HALF THE COST OF WATER LEAK".... YEAH RIGHT.. By the way I agreed (stupid of me as it sounded convenient to get it done all at once) 3.) He told me that my car immediately needed Power Steering Fluid Flush and Transmission Fluid Flush as both the fluids are very dirty and could cause damage etc. etc. I knew he was trying to make money as fast as he can because I did both things less then 10K miles ago and checked my self it was clean not DIRTY. They charged me so much for the alignment and changed front brakes But i still get vibration in steering wheel. Now that makes me wonder if they really did the ALIGNMENT or Not. But I am so FED-UP after this experience that Don't Want To Deal With Them Anymore. Well. I promised myself that i would not let that happen to myself any more. Not dealing with dishonest SALES PEOPLE e.g. service advisers at Honda of Watertown, CT While I was there i saw that almost all the service advisers were pitching their customers for p/s and transmission FLUID FLUSH which made me wonder AM I at the right place. Advice: Beware of whats going on with your car by taking a little time to look under the hood and shop around before taking it for Repairs. More
They are inconsistent I purchased my certified used Honda CRV exactly one year ago. I thought I made the right choice, considering their warranty. In February 2015, we were I purchased my certified used Honda CRV exactly one year ago. I thought I made the right choice, considering their warranty. In February 2015, we were in another town and it was snowing out. We got into my new vehicle and it wouldn't start, had to get a jump. I thought nothing of it. That spring I'm get out of work after working a 12.5 hour day and (it's not cold out) again my car doesn't start, had to get a jump. I call Honda, bring it in, I said it was the battery, they tell me there is a recall on the alternator and it's under warranty so they fix it. When my oil change is due I make an appt. I go in and wait almost 3 hours!!!!! Unacceptable when I made an appt in advance to avoid a long wait time. Then come August I go to start my car, AGAIN it won't start, at this point I'm so disappointed and upset cause I've been there on two separate occasions and they say it's not the battery. So I call take the car to get fixed, they tell me that the computer system needed to be updated. I get my car back. This was in September 2015.Now this past Tuesday,I get out of work, ran some quick errands with the intention to go to the gym. Something tells me to turn the car off and start it before I go in and guess what? My car wouldn't start. Since my gym doesn't have a speaker system I had to walk around to look for the owner of the vehicle that was parked beside me so I could ask them to move so I could have my fiancé jump my car (which took a good 20 minutes and was embarrassing). I call the delearship and I give Matt the service manager an ear full. I'm so furious at this point cause he doesn't seem to get it that I have had to stop what I'm doing on numerous occasions cause this car has had issues and it's a huge inconvenience for me and others. From the time my car wouldn't start until I got my loaner vehicle from them when I dropped my car off it took two hours when it was all said and done. When I got there I had to wait almost an hour. When I get my loaner one of the service guys made sure I had extra gas in there (they see me so often they must feel for me), but then as I drive off I notice that the oil percentage is 15%. I receive a phone call from my technician at Honda 2 days later for him to tell me it's the battery!!!! Really???? I've been saying this all along. I had told them I refuse to pay for a battery since I have been there so many times for this issue. The manager agrees to remove the labor fee (57 dollars which is to replace a battery that takes ten minutes) I speak to the manager he tells me they will call me Saturday to pick it up once they have replaced the battery. It's Sunday today and no word. I'm sorry I don't usually complain cause I indestand that it's busy but I have been there so many times and I'm so frustrated that I had to write a review. I thought I would purchase another vehicle from there but I will NEVER purchase a car from Honda of Watertown again. I'll go right back to Nissan where I purchased a used vehicle as well and didn't come across this many problems. The customer service reps are very nice and everything so I don't want to discredit that but this delearship either needs to hire more technicians or something cause waiting over a week to diagnose a battery and it not being done in a timely fashion is ridiculous More

Beware of the children that service your car there...if they see a shiny car with a manual transmission, they just can't resist the urge to drive it like a moron. It doesn't take an ASE certification to figure out that the kid did a burnout and broke my axle, I just wish they had owned up to it and fixed their mistake...but they didn't. Service was extremely slow... I spent 5 hours there waiting for an alternator...and they didn't even top off the coolant that they noted was low. Jessica the receptionist said they couldn't open the radiator because the car was too hot....Really? Hot after 5 hours? I am now getting the run around being referred from service adviser, to service manager to general manager and back again and nobody is giving me any answers. I should not be held liable for damages incurred to my vehicle while it was in their possession! I am very disappointed, definitely will not be bringing my car back there. It's worth a farther drive to take it ANYWHERE else. More
