I had such a good car buying experience here. I had been calling around to car dealers to ask what the best price on a Civic Hatchback Sport was. When I called Honda of Turnersville I spoke with Min, the GM calling around to car dealers to ask what the best price on a Civic Hatchback Sport was. When I called Honda of Turnersville I spoke with Min, the GM, directly. (He’s the one who answered the phone.) He *actually gave me his best and final price over the phone on my first call*. He wasn’t trying to see what he could get out of me or anything. We coordinated an appointment for later that day and I drove up. (2.5 hours! I really wanted the red color and I really wanted to buy from Min and not from some of the other dealers I’d spoken to.) When I got to the auto mall I was able to go check out the car; Min personally went out with me to answer questions. The purchase process was very smooth—I never got any sort of up-sell or hard sell on anything. (Min even explained “we have to offer you the extended warranty, but that’s it” and truly it was just mentioned once as a check-the-box thing.) I was kind of burnt out on the car purchasing process before the visit—too many pestering phone calls and one straight-up lie about having a particular car in stock (and, when called out on it, tried to get me to come in anyway). Everything about working with Min and the team at Honda of Turnersville was an amazing difference from that. Honestly, I’d probably send anyone I know in Maryland up to Min to buy a Honda. Sure, it’s a 90-minute drive from my family, but holy cow the experience was worth it. (Oh and not to mention the selection! The next-closest place with the exact car I wanted was 75 miles farther away from me!) More
