I have search the internet for a small SUV....I narrowed my choice to the Rogue, Tucson and the CRV. After test driving the Rogue & Tucson I headed to Honda of Toms River . ( I did test drive the CRV at a my choice to the Rogue, Tucson and the CRV. After test driving the Rogue & Tucson I headed to Honda of Toms River . ( I did test drive the CRV at another dealer but he was unable to get my color choice in due time.) I was greeting by Brian Lipman who did assure me he would be able to get the CRV with the exterior & interior color I wanted. After negotiating a price I was satisfied with the deal was sealed. In a few days I had my new Honda CRV EX-L. Brian spent time with the delivery explaining all the features. It's a big decision buying a new vehicle but Brian made it easy and I have no doubt that the CRV was the best for me. More
My husband and I visited the Tom's River dealership to test drive a Honda CRV. I needed to renew my leased car and had intended to go to 2 other dealerships in the area. We spoke for a few minutes regarding the purpose of our visit. Kevin was friendly, very approachable, assertive but not pushy. He answered all questions clearly. He extended himself by demonstrating and sinking my cell, connecting my cell to bluetooth. He was able to keep my payments within our budget, which was very important to us. He set up a pre-appoiontment schedule for car maintainance, explained all details of transaction in a clear and concise manner. Needless to say, I never visited the other dealerships, as we drove home in our new CRV. The car is just what I was looking for and I never felt under any pressure during the visit. I would definately recommend Kevin, Honda representative, and this dealership. More
I went in to lease a new accord lx, as my current car was getting old. I was referred to Brian Lipman. Brian answered all the questions I had and did not say things just to please me. In August of 2012 I leased a Civic through Honda of Toms River and was nothing but satisfied with their commitment to service in the months that followed. When Ricky Amiscosa explained the incentives that Honda Finance was offering I had no choice but to entertain the idea of leasing a new 2013 CR-V. Despite the fact that I still owed 9 months on my 2011 Accord Ricky was able to put me in that new 2013 CR-V EXL for just a few dollars more than I was paying for the Accord. Kudos to Ricky and Steve Lindstrom who sold me the 2012 Civic. Steve is now a credit manager who is as committed to his new position as he was to sales. More

I had a great experience at Honda of Toms River. Not once. Not twice. But three times! I've leased two vehicles from the dealership and just purchased a new vehicle from Brian Lipman a few days ago. I'm a woman in my 30s and it's a daunting task to go into a car dealership alone to try to get a deal made. However, Brian was very friendly and made me feel at ease. The entire process began with Mark contacting me online and setting up an appointment to test drive a new vehicle. Easy! I showed up at my assigned time and Brian was ready to meet with me. We test drove the vehicle, made a deal, and then finance took over from there. I would recommend the dealership to anyone looking for a great vehicle and great service! More

Definitely had a great experience at Honda. It was my first new car purchase and my salesman Sefet salaj made it an easy one... I was looking for a new Honda in the area, and had contacted various dealerships to get quotes. Honda of Toms River's quote was not the lowest, but was very competitive. And with the promises of 'lifetime oil changes' and 'extended warranties', I figured I'd see what they could do. After going back and forth online (the only reason they didn't get a 1 for customer service was because their online interaction was good), I was told they could match or beat any price, and scheduled an appointment to go look at the car. Sounds too good to be true...and it was. As soon as I got there, I noticed nearly every car on the lot had several hundred dollars worth of extras added on. Of course later in the process, they tried to make it look like they were giving me a deal by 'only' charging me $350 instead of $600 for extras that I didn't want to begin with (which was still more then the price for the same package from other dealers). Still, I took a test drive and figured I'd at least hear what they had to say. Once we started talking price, that's when things went way down hill. They wouldn't match the other price I was quoted, and were VERY rude about it, saying if I could get that price elsewhere, then 'why was I even here?'. At one point they accused me of lying about the quote saying that "Every dealership pays the same price for the car, and no one could sell it for that. So either they are hiding something, or you are making that price up". When I tried to show him the breakdown from the other dealers quote--breaking out each tax and fee to get the grand total--that was brushed off and I was again met with "Well then why are you even here?" So much for the promises of price matching. The final quote I got from them ended up being a few hundred dollars more than the other dealership...but at that point, even if they had matched/beat the price, there was no way I was going to do any business with them. Also, other shoppers should take note: the 'extended warranty' deal is a waste...you have to do any and all scheduled or recommended maintenance at the dealer or the extended portion is voided. Nothing is wrong with getting some service done at the dealership, I have in the past at other places. But according to what I was told, you HAVE to do EVERYTHING there--and do it when they tell you that you should do it. If you want to do that, go ahead, but that is going to end up costing you thousands and thousands of dollars. It's a money maker for them hidden as a deal for you, so beware. I asked that if changing my own air filter--a job that takes under 5 minutes to do myself for a lot less than a dealer would charge--would void it, and they said yes. I left and went directly to Coast Honda where I paid the so called "impossible price" and dealt with a decent, honest salesmen. Long story short, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Either go to another Honda dealership or try one of the other places on 37. Anywhere has to be better then here. More

One person sticks out and that is Safet Salaj my salesman. He is intelligent, professional, easy to talk to, explained everything about the vehicle both before and after the test drive and was able to get me the price I was looking for. He was simply outstanding. This was the best vehicle buying experience I've ever been through. No pressure, just sitting down and he took the time to crunch the numbers with me. He has the patience of a Saint. Believe me, this is not new car fever, it simply was a very, very good vehicle buying experience and I owe it all to Safet. By the way, bought a 2013 Honda CR-V and it is rated number 1 in it's class. No wonder it's rated number 1, bought it at a first class dealership and first class salesman. Do yourself a favor, if you are in the market for a vehicle, you've got to get down to Honda of Toms River and by all means ask for Safet Salaj... More
