I really wanted to say I've never had a car purchase like this before, and i have bought plenty cars before. I went in wanting 3 rows but not wanting a mini van. I knew the only other option was a pil like this before, and i have bought plenty cars before. I went in wanting 3 rows but not wanting a mini van. I knew the only other option was a pilot but i knew it was out of my price range. But then i spoke to the manager, Vinny Tavares, who assured me that he would get me into the car i wanted at the price i wanted. I figured this was a normal sales technique like every other dealership salesman does, but after a little while and watching him call banks, and i watched, he got me exactly where i wanted to be in the car of my dreams. I also wanted to thank Kevin fir going over everything in great detail. Wow! Thank you so much, Vinny, Kevin, and Honda of toms river for being sincere and accommodating to my every want and need. More

Overall experience, from start to finish, was the best! I wasn't pressured, the price was great, and I was in and out in less then hour! It was by far the quickest process for purchasing a car! Whereas Vinnie listened to what I was asking for and pulled out the PERFECT car for me, right down to each detail (color, features, etc...)! I didn't even feel the need to test drive because I was so impressed and confident, but they insisted only to make sure I was comfortable driving! I would highly recommend Honda in Toms River to anyone! I'm sure all the employees are as kind and wonderful as Vinnie and Mike! More

I made an innocent trip with a friend to buy a new car and I was bitten by the bug! There was nothing wrong with my 8-year old Honda Civic, but the new ones were sooo beautiful...I just couldn't resist. and I was bitten by the bug! I researched dealers in the area and went to Honda of Toms River where I met Steve Severio. He was so pleasant, especially while listening to my nervous chatter. I left there to think about what I wanted to do. When I returned some two weeks later, Steve remembered my name, greeted me, and we got down to business. He helped me make logical decisions "in my best interest," and was kind, patient and gracious in the process. The next day and I drove away a White Pearl beauty with a huge smile on my face. I recommend Steve to everyone! More

Dealer does not honor their Guaranteed Best Price guarantee. I was shopping for a new Honda Accord and made contact with Ms Lauren Clark, Internet Sales Representative of Honda of Toms River. I obt guarantee. I was shopping for a new Honda Accord and made contact with Ms Lauren Clark, Internet Sales Representative of Honda of Toms River. I obtained a price quote from Ms Clark which was higher than I had received from another dealer. Ms Clark informed me via e-mail on July 6th that Honda of Toms River has a 'best price guarantee,' and that if I came to their location that the dealership guaranteed to beat the written price quote I had from another dealer on the same make/model of car. I confirmed this guarantee with Ms. Clark again on July the 8th in an e-mail, "Our best price guarantee, guarantee's that we will beat the price that you have received in writing from other dealerships." I brought my written price quote into the dealership that same morning. When I arrived, I presented the written price quote and asked to speak with Ms. Clark. I was informed that Ms Clark was not available, but another sales representative (Mr. Steve Severio) would be more than happy to help me. After reviewing the price quote I brought, the salesman attempted to get me interested in a 'certified used' Honda instead of the new model for which I had a price quote and guaranteed price. I informed the salesman that I was not interested in a certified used car, and that I would like to purchase a new model in accordance with my guaranteed price. However, when I attempted to do so, the sales manager informed me that the 'manager' would not honor that quoted price, and would not honor Honda of Toms River Best Price Guarantee. I spoke to Sales Manager Vincent Tavares about the matter and he simply refused to honor the Best Price Guarantee despite my written quote and written guarantee from the dealership. The dealership also guarantee's 'walk-in service policy' and an exclusive 10 year or 100,000 mile Engine & Transmission Warranty, neither of which is reasonable to presume would be honored at this dealership. More
