Another great experience at Honda of Toms River We had a great experience purchasing a Honda CR-V from Honda of Toms River in 2009, we found ourselves in the market again in 2017 and we wanted to re We had a great experience purchasing a Honda CR-V from Honda of Toms River in 2009, we found ourselves in the market again in 2017 and we wanted to return to a dealership that we already had a relationship with. This time we had the pleasure of working with Doug Lazaro.  Before our appointment, Doug was prompt to return phone calls and set-up an appointment that was convenient for us. During our appointment, Doug was responsive to our needs, listened to our concerns, and answered numerous questions about safety features. It was very important to us to find a vehicle that was good for our family now and one that would grow with us as we expanded our family in the future. Although we did our homework on some of the potential cars we test-drove, Doug really highlighted some great features in the cars that we did not know about. We came in with a budget and car payment price-point we did not want to deviate from, Doug listened to this and had recommendations for us.  Most importantly, at Doug’s suggestion, we agreed that it would be a disservice to look at or test drive cars that were above our price-point. My spouse and I appreciated and respected his frankness regarding this price-point matter. Once we has test driven a few cars, we actually decided on a used CR-V.  The used CR-V we purchased came with low miles and great features that feel premium. For this purchase, we had a trade-in too and we feel like we received a reasonable offer from Doug for it.  Doug also worked with us to get the best financing for us. In summary, Doug offered his opinion and expertise when asked, but was not pushy or forceful.  Not to sound cliché, but he’s not your typical car salesman and it truly was a please to work with him to find our new car.  We wouldn’t hesitate to contact him again for our future car sale needs.
