I have recieved an e-mail for me to bring the car in for service but not for what kind of service..... More
Started the process @ Toyota approx 1 month ago meeting with Vincent. But unfortunately we could not test drive a Rav4. We were given all necessary information while we were deciding between the Rav4 & th with Vincent. But unfortunately we could not test drive a Rav4. We were given all necessary information while we were deciding between the Rav4 & the Honda CRV. Fortunately we were highly disrespected by the Honda dealer in Toms River , NJ. An 800+ credit score means nothing to them. Even got contacted by Honda's survey group appropriately named the "Listener Group." Even they were shocked. Was promised that they would contact the dealer AND send us some coupons through our email but as of this writing I have to assume we were just blown off. Honda is doing so well. After further researching on the Rav4, we found that this was the better choice. We made another visit to Toyota and Vincent hooked us up with Ron who "listened" to what we wanted, got us a vehicle to test drive, got us a taylored lease to our specifications and had us signing for the vehicle before we left. Thank you Ron for a most professional, no nonsense, experience that Honda could not deliver. Vincent brought us "back" but Ron "done" the deal. We have gotten our call back from Ron advising that our vehicle is on its way. Who knew this could be so painless. Certainly not Honda of Toms River. J.T. & I.P. P.S. DON' EXPLAIN WHAT EVERYTHING MEANS TO THEM BECAUSE ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY ARE AMAZED THAT THE CAR THEY WERE SELLING AS "CERTIFIED" NO LONGER QUALIFIES. DON'T BRING ANY MEANS OF A DOWN PAYMENT, YOU MIGHT HAVE TO CALL THEM AND REMIND THEM TO CREDIT YOUR ACOUNT. CARFAX IS A VERY GOOD TOOL, USE IT! More
Probably one of the best buying experiences I've had in over twenty years. Extremely courteous staff, knowledgeable, and professional. I was dealt with honestly and respectfully. Only reason why I went there was because I found the exact Certified Used Honda I was looking for below KBB value. A simple sales transaction turned out to be a 4 hour ordeal. Finance guy was a despic exact Certified Used Honda I was looking for below KBB value. A simple sales transaction turned out to be a 4 hour ordeal. Finance guy was a despicable person. After doing all my research and being 100% sure I pre-qualified for the Certified Used Honda finance deal, this person tries to jack the price up $1500 stating that I can get the Internet only at a higher interest rate, or get the special deal at above the KBB value. Two steps away from the door, they buckle and give me the deal I signed for. When picking up the vehicle I stated that the tires were below the 5/32 threshold for certification. They told me to go to state inspection, fail, and they will then fix the issue. Spoke to Honda & advised they are cutting corners on their 150 pt. inspection for Certification and they are simply selling used cars masked as Certified. When confronting the sales guy about the Certification process and checklist, he lies about the process and states he isn’t aware that it was a part of the checklist. How can someone be so ignorant about the steps of inspection when it is stated on Honda’s website? Heed my warning and take your business somewhere else. Do not subject yourself to this nightmare.
