He was an effective communicator over the phone and in person during purchase time. Doug's easygoing mannerisms and willingness to answer all of my questions made my purchasing decision much easier. I was on the fence about upgrading my car. It was a want; not a need. If I was dealing with a salesman of lesser quality, I could have easily passed on upgrading my 2012 honda. Never once was he pushy or sleazy (stereotypical salesman). Doug also gave me a deal that I felt was fair. He provided me with a great warrantee which was on the top of my priority list. To my surprise, due to superior , competent and friendly service of Mr. Louis Cerrato and all other collegues of his involved in the process, in about 4 hours , I left with a brend new HONDA CIVIC at a verry affordable price. More over, the all hassle of paper work and registration, were performed by the dealership perssonel. Thank you again for your help and for the surprise of such a speedy resolution. I recomend this dealership to everybody ! More

We had the great good fortune to encounter and subsequently work with salesperson Lou Cerrato. Lou is a straight shooter -- no game playing, no gimmicks, no pressure. My Dad is a senior citizen who has very poor hearing which can lead to frustration very quickly -- for all parties concerned. Lou was patient and respectful. He took his time with us and made us feel comfortable. As Finance Manager, Derek too was caring, respectful and helpful. Dad (and the entire family, for that matter) love his 2014 Honda Accord Sport! It is quite a car for the money! I would highly recommend this dealership -- and when you go, ask for Lou! More

My 2004 Honda Accord EX had all the radio & climate control display lights go out in the center console for the 2nd time. The 1st time was in 2006 but Honda replaced it since it was still under warran control display lights go out in the center console for the 2nd time. The 1st time was in 2006 but Honda replaced it since it was still under warranty. I went to Toms River Honda on March 5, 2014 to be diagnosed. They said it would cost $2,486.00 to replace the radio control unit. I then got a 2nd estimate from AAA for $986.00. I got a 3rd estimate from Joyce Honda in Denville, NJ, the dealer who replaced it in 2006. They told me there was a Class Action suit over this issue and Honda was ordered to extend the warranties on the radio control unit for 7 years. Honda Corporate made a special arrangement with the dealers to sell the part to them at cost & they were to install it w/o labor for a cost of $215.00. Why didn’t Toms River Honda inform me of this? They wanted $2,486.00 to do the job. Conclusion: stay away from Toms River Honda More
