I was contacted by the dealership based on the informaiton I submitted from a web site. He took the time to show me the car, give me a test drive on a snowy, cold day, and answered all my questions. I have a Bankruptcy on my credit history and was wondering how that would hurt my financing; this would be the first major purchase for me after the bankruptcy. Bernard C. was in financing and he along with Robert R., the General Manager, were extremely patient, you can imagine my apprehension, and worked with me to get the financing I needed at a payment that I could afford. It was truly to good a deal to pass up! I was very pleased with the entire exprerience and will only use Honda of Toms River for all my purchases and references. By the way, this is my fifth Honda. More
I can't stand buying cars, like most people, but this dealership was friendly & not at all pushy. It took a little long to clean the car, but otherwise everything was pleasant. We went to Honda of Toms River to test drive a Honda Pilot, We were approached by Cara Z. She was very straight forward, as were we. Our time was limited and she did the best that she could, considering it was Columbus Day Weekend and they were extrememly busy. Cara was able to get us into a Pilot with an excellent deal and she made our experience wonderful. All the staff at Honda of Toms River were very nice and helpful. The only downside to our experience was that it took so long, but in the end we were extremely happy with our deal and our new car. We would definitely recommend Cara to our friends. Cara was honest, caring and genuine with us, she was extremely apologetic at how long we had to wait. We had been shopping for a new car for a few months and they were no doubt the best staff we had encountered in our search of a new car. More

I am writing this review in greatful appreciation for the folks at Honda of Toms River. My wife & I were recently interested in trading in our chrysler (EEEWWWW) mini van for a Honda. My salesman Victor folks at Honda of Toms River. My wife & I were recently interested in trading in our chrysler (EEEWWWW) mini van for a Honda. My salesman Victor was very knowledgable and helpful. Everyone worked as a team for a few hours to get my sale approved. Victor, Vinny, Bobby, Sal & Bernard were completly proffesional, courteous and outright phenominal. They helped my wife & I achieve our goal and we drove away in a basically brand new Honda Accord LX. I say Basically new because it is a 2009 with only 4,985 miles on it. There was 1 recall on the car which was performed immediatly by your outstanding service department. This is not the first car we have purchased at Honda of Toms River but the 3rd. As I told Sal I am a 9/11 First Responder / Survivor and I will be in very soon for another car for my youngest who will be getting her license in February. I want her in the safest car on the road. I will tell you this. On the way home we were on the GSP south and there was an accident. It involved a Honda Civic & a Hyundai (EEWW) Sonata. To say the least The Honda suffered a busted headlight and the Sonata well lets say It was taken on a flatbed, probably to the Junk Yard. It was Mangled. In closing I would like to sincerely Thank the Folks at Honda of Toms River for an Outstanding Experience once again and I must Thank the Owner Anton who I never met but who has put together an Outstanding Phenominal Team. Made a deal, quoted price, quoted trade-in and then reneged on the deal and played games when we went to dealer. Basically a bait and switch- good cop- bad cop BS. Terrible. Tried to disparage my trade to justify their BS after their own sale rep. said it was in really good shape. Terrible place and the slob manager Jorge should not be allowed to interact with the public. Avoid this place. More
First off Dave was an excellent salesman. Finance staff was also outstanding in their customer service and getting the deal done. I never had a more pleasureable experience in buying a car and having a gre was also outstanding in their customer service and getting the deal done. We visited Honda of Toms River with the specific intention of test driving a Crosstour. We were approached by Stan Kobylarz when we arrived at the dealership. Stan is knowledgeable, forthcoming (rare as that is for a new auto sales consultant), responsive, and thoroughly professional in both demeanor and conduct. He actually made the car buying experience, which I had been dreading for good reason, enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend a potential Honda buyer to Stan, and I intend to do so. I dealt with a number of other staff members at the dealership. I was very impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of the woman who handled F&I when I picked up the car, whose name I unfortunately don't know. I was comfortable, too, with the used car manager who looked over my trade, and the service consultant to whom Stan introduced me. The one person who didn't leave me with a good impression was the sales manager, who seems to be unable to get away from the old car dealer double talk, and doesn't seem to understand his customer. Many people who are educated and affluent, particularly baby boomers, are switching from the high line marks, where the dealers know how to treat their customers, to the mid line domestic and foreign marks. That's what I did. The mid line dealers need to learn how to respect their new customers' intelligence and acumen. On the whole, I had a great experience at Honda of toms River. Any Honda buyer within striking distance shouls stop in and speak with Stan. More
