The correct tire A tire on my new Honda Civic developed a leak. A very slow leak. I tried to find the correct tire both online and at local dealers. I was told it is not wise to mix brand radial tires so I was faced with the prospect of having to purchase 2 new tires even though I have only driven the car 2800 miles. I called Tenafly Honda and explained my problem. The parts manager assured me he would find the correct tire I needed. He called me back the same day. He located the tire. It was delivered the same day and I had it installed the next morning. This was my first visit to the service center and I must say I was quite impressed. Cordial employees, clean waiting room, fresh brewed coffee and delicious bagels. Now, not only did I get a great deal on my car purchase, but, also an excellent service center. I will be back in a few months for my first oil change. I look forward to the visit. More
Lack of responsiveness After servicing 2 cars for 19 years, the response to a call for help was met with a weeks wait and then no response to complaint. A local service station fixed the problem over nite. I don't understand what has happened to what we always felt was one of the best places to service our cars, We weren't even contacted after I emailed what the issue was. I'm not sure based on this experience that it's even worth one star More

Sam Chao in the dealership is great,service dept is terrible We have bought 3 Honda's at the dealership with Sam Chao over the years and were very happy. But every time we have to deal with the service depart We have bought 3 Honda's at the dealership with Sam Chao over the years and were very happy. But every time we have to deal with the service department, it is a frustrating experience. They are disorganized and don't seem to know what's going on. This past time I went due to a recall on my CR-V. They could not tell me when they were getting the part to fix my car but I should not being driving the car. Not safe. I had to wait a week for my appt for a rental they were providing. I was told that I would get a car comparable to mine, I said that was good because I needed to fit two car seats in the car. I waited 2 hours for the shuttle pick up, even though I had an appointment for a pick up at 8 am. I called at 8:45, and received an apology and was told that someone would be there by 9. I confirmed with them that I would get a car comparable to mine. They said no problem and they would call Hertz to confirm.. I called again at 9:30 and was told there is no guarantee when someone would pick me up because there are people that need to get home from Honda.. Finally 10, the courtesy shuttle arrived. I had to sign papers at Honda that I wouldn't drive my CR-V due to it being unsafe, and then was driven to Hertz rental car, only to be told they had no cars at all. And that maybe by the end of the day they would, but couldn't guarantee me that I would have room for two car seats. And that was at 12pm. I spent 4 hours dealing with it and was extremely upset with Honda of Tenafly. Seemed like they weren't truthful, and/or they didn't really call Hertz to make sure I had a car waiting for me. More
