Replace Tire Had an appointment to have a replacement tire put on my car. They had the tire in stock 3. My car was parked in front of the service area for more than an hour before they looked at the tire 3. They claimed they had to wait an hour to get approval 4. Once approved, it still took almost an hour to get my car I could have changed the tire myself in about 10 minutes. More

Horrendous I had previously leased a brand new 2019 Honda Accord back in February. Now in July it has been nothing but issues. I have had the same problem for the entire month of my radio taking several minutes to turn on when the vehicle is turned on. I have ALREADY sent the car in TWO times for it to be fixed and after both times I was told the problem was resolved and that was not the case either time. I still have the problem nearly everyday of my radio not turning on. This is completely and utterly unacceptable. The service team who’s job is to fix issues like this and ensure me that any other problems I may have in the future will be taken care of has completely let me down. I will now have to send my car in for a THIRD time to attempt to fix this issue. I have been left without a car for a total of 4 days already because of this and not only that but I have had to use my own personal time to take 4 unpaid days off from work. Now I will have to be without my vehicle for more time and I will have to take more unpaid time off from work. This is my first time owning a Honda and dealing with Honda of Tenafly and this most certainly will be the last time I will ever do business with them. They have completely lost every bit of trust and loyalty I had put in the dealership. If I was able to return the car tomorrow and get out of this lease I would do it without a second thought. More

Now I think all of us waiting for our cars to be completed by service already have a Honda and would appreciate the availability of CHOICE while spending 2 hours waiting. Very good buying experience. Follow-up and service -- poor! Purchasing the car went well. I got a good price and the sales person, Lynn Gerber was very nice to deal with. However, from the beginning, I've had one problem after another with the car. Some are related to the Accord (poor and unreliable electronics) and some to the dealership. I've had to go to the dealer more times in the 4 months I've owned the car than in all my 10 years with my Accord TSX. The car was delivered with grease on the door and it took a couple of visits to finally get it off. The tire monitor kept registering low pressure when the tires were okay. Since the system doesn't give you the actual pressure, it means getting out of the car, even in the middle of the night in the rain, to do a manual check. When I brought it in, they said the tires were okay, but the system was "sensitive." I love that in my wife, not so much in my car. There's nothing they could do, so this will be an ongoing problem. My phone doesn't hook up well with my car. They've checked it out a few times and could only say it was a problem with the phone or with the connector cord. In considering the symptoms and after consulting with Verizon, this seems unlikely. It's probably a problem with the car's electronics. A door edge guard was poorly installed and fell off. It took a couple of visits and many hours wasted to get it done. At my first appointment, I waited close to an hour and a half past my appointment time to get the car in. Then they said they didn't have the part in stock, even though it had been ordered and I called the day before to make sure it was in, and they said it was. They have no loaner cars and the shuttle service is unreliable. I suggested that for all the days and hours I had been wasting because of the poor product and service they allow me to either return the car (so I could get the Subaru I should have gotten), or provide a courtesy extended warranty on my tires. Their only response was to say they couldn't do anything for me and that they were sorry for the problems they had caused. A terrible experience all around. This is my last Honda, and I certainly would never return to this dealership. More
