I was torn between a purchasing a 2010 Civic and 2010 CR-V. Herbie explained the pros and cons to each based on my lifestyle. He didn't at anytime try to force me into making a decision. At the time of pick-up, Herbie explained everything in the car in great detail and I felt very comfortable driving out the lot because of this. After having the car for a week, Herbie called to make sure I was happy with my decision and make sure there weren't any problems. You can bet that if Herbie is still around when I buy my next car, I will be going to him. Until then, I will refer him to my friends and family. More
Our experience with the dealership and sales person were excellent. We live 2 states and 2 hours away, so before we made that trip we needed to be sure that the vehicle and dealership were solid. Herbie was very accomodating over the phone, over multiple phone calls back and forth, taking pictures of the vehicle inside and out, taking it for a test drive himself and reporting back. There were a few dings on the car and that was fully disclosed by Herbie and shown in the pictures, further building that trust. Upon our arrival we were not disappointed, we were greeted immediately by Herbie and felt more comfortable that our day was not wasted. After a couple walk arounds and a good test drive, we decided to buy the car. The process of the purchase was quite smooth, no surprises. As we were so far away, Herbie then expedited the vehicle through service for the standard safety inspection and detailing, so we didn't have to drive back the next day. So our adventure ended on a great note, we had the vehicle we had been looking for and were in and out in less than a day, thanks to the professional attitude and attention of Herbie. More
So I was looking for a Honda Odyssey for my sister and her husband who have two lovely girls and are expecting another baby!! We live in Maryland and I looked at so many dealers for the right deal that it would make your head spin (10 to be exact), I am talking about in state and as far as Georgia. I met some interesting people along the way who tried to earn my business. When I was contacted by Kristen at D & C Honda of NJ, I was very impressed with how well she treated my situation. I told her specifically what I was looking for, what my needs were, and how special this was for me. After hearing me ramble off she gave me some options in regards to what could be done for my sister, and even after I told her that these were not in my sister's budget Kristen went above and beyond to get my sister her dream Odyssey. Kristen and I worked everything out over the phone in less then 30 minutes, which is unheard of by the way, there was no bring them in and lets see what we could do for them or any nonsense. My sister, her husband, their two daughters and myself took a trip from Kensington, MD to D & C Honda of NJ two days after to pick up their Honda Odyssey. No one around MD was willing to make the same deal until we were already on the road to NJ, I am so happy to have met Kristen and the D & C Honda faculty. They are amazing and this is exactly how a car buying experience should always be! This was my second lease with D&C Honda. Both were with Herbie and both were great experiences. Three years ago I wanted to by a Fit. I went to another dealer first, and had also closed the deal when he told me he couldn't promise it for a specific time, but it would be several weeks. Then I found H dealer first, and had also closed the deal when he told me he couldn't promise it for a specific time, but it would be several weeks. Then I found Herbie. He got me exactly the model I wanted (even color) in two weeks. I came back a week later and bought a used Accord from him for my son. Last month we traded in three cars and bought two certified used Hondas from him. I never even considered talking to anyone else. He was patient (there were four of us haggling over what to buy), good-humored, absolutely no pressure. It felt like it was about what we wanted to buy, not what he wanted to sell. By the way, until 2007 I had never bought a non-American car. Now I own three Hondas. Herbie had a lot to do with that! I really can't imagine going to anyone else to buy a car (and I had been a very loyal Ford customer for about 15 years but never felt that way about the dealers who sold me my cars). More

Above and beyond a sales person!!! Harry was a pleasure to talk to. Greeted us very kindly and took his time to explain in detail the differences between the models of cars we were interested in. Once we made a selection he brought us in and was very patient and answered all our question with clear and concise answers. After we made our purchase he even took quite a bit of time out to show us all the features, demonstrated them for us and had us repeat them to insure we knew how to work everything from folding seats down, to removing them, down to how to change the time on the clock!!! Truely wonderful. An absolute assest to your business. Will highly recommend to anyone I know looking for a new car. More

Herbie is very attentive and friendly. He is NOT you typical high pressure salesman. He is not great remembering names of past customers, but he knew we had been to him before which is a plus in my book typical high pressure salesman. If all dealerships had people like Herbie, I think the industry would be so much better, no one would be worried about being taken advantage of. AS much as people always complaining and make a bad name for things, I also like to commend people for great work too. My only criticism would be with the credit department. They were VERRRRRRY slow in calling us in to finish the paperwork. He was very nice when we got in the office, but it was uncomfortably slow. Thanks Herbie, we will see you again, and a referral! Kristen tells it like it is. I'll return there for other vehicles as opposed to the last dealership i did business with, which shall remain nameless. If you want a knowledgeable salesperson who knows that looking out for the customer is the best way to do business, check out D & C Honda and ask for her specifically. More
