Doug was more like a concerned friend then a salesman. He was knowledgeable, efficient beyond belief, courteous and most of all patient. You will never feel pressured by Doug. He will go the extra mile over and over again to make sure you are happy and satisfied before, during and after the purchasing process. I watched him handle other customers while I was browsing the showroom and could see he genuinely cared about anyone he was working with. Even on my first visits when he knew I probably wasn't ready to buy he gave me his time and attention with no hesitation. Everyone at D&C Honda, including the owners Jeff and Norman, and Mark in finance, are the best at what they do and will make you feel comfortable and completely informed throughout your visit. Well after being blown off in Paramus Honda - It was a pleasure to go to this dealership; we actually called DC Honda of Tenafly for directions in the Paramus dealership. We drove a half hour out of our way; we meet Kristen Tedesco. I could not have asked for a better salesperson. She was very knowledgeable and did not push us at any point of the purchase. She took her time and made sure my wife knew how to work everything in the car. The whole process was great and if anyone is looking for a Honda - follow the road less traveled to DC Honda of Tenafly and see what service is about. After driving away in my new Odysssey - I wanted to pull in to Paramus Honda and go up to the manager there and say" Remember us? The family that you did not want to help. Big Mistake!!" I mean I hear about this bad economy and here I was a guy who wanted to spend money. But I guess because they think that the location will make people buy from them - think again. Service is the most important thing and I will make sure that I tell everyone I know never to set foot in that dealership again. If you want a pleasant experience - forget about location - find out about service and ask Kristen to help you with your new car. More
Kristen Tedesco was extremely friendly and worked with me to the best I could have asked for. I would definatly recommend this dealership to my friends. When my old car decided to break on me, I decided to go to D&C Honda to check out some options. The staff was very friendly, especially Kristen Tedesco who was my saleswoman. She explained all the options available to me and I decided to lease. Since it was an emergency situation, I was desperate and thought they would hassle me on price, since I am a young woman. This was NOT the case at D&C! Kristen and her manager Mike assured me that I was getting a great value in my purchase. I also did not feel pressure to add anything from the Finance department. When my car insurance was closed for the holiday, they even helped me get new insurance with better service. Overall they helped make my car disaster into a happy car buying experience, especially because this is my first new car purchase!! I highly recommend D&C Honda of Tenafly & especially Kristen Tedesco for anyone interested in a Honda.THANK YOU KRISTEN!! More

I went to D&C Honda to get my GPS repaired in my brand new 2010 Honda Accord EXL. Upon hearing that I did not buy the car from their dealership, they promptly made up an excuse that I would have to go to new 2010 Honda Accord EXL. Upon hearing that I did not buy the car from their dealership, they promptly made up an excuse that I would have to go to the dealership where I bought the GPS, because "only they can fix it." I asked why, the response was "they programmed it a certain way, only they can fix it." It was obviously a classic brush-off tactic. ANY Honda dealership in the USA should be able to fix ANY issue. They had no regard for me as a Honda customer, and I am writing a letter to Honda Corporate to report them. After my terrible experience with D&C Honda of Tenafly, I went to another local dealership who simply said the GPS has to be replaced, which they did for me...it was that simple. It just goes to show that D&C Honda needs training in customer service and is also violating Honda's 3-year warranty terms of service by declining customers who did not buy a car from them. More
