This was my first time buying a used car and also first time financing. I identified three certified pre-owned CR-V's on-line available at this dealership. Michael was helpful in showing each car, providing a test drive of the one I was most interested in, and handling the logistics. He was quick to respond to a question I emailed the following day. The Finance department was also helpful and efficient in arranging the financing and extended warranty. Not sure if I got the lowest price on the car, warrantly, and APR, but feel I got a reasonable prices and rates. What was imprtant to me was that the process was relatevely quick and painless. More

Mr. Rosario explained everything to me so clearly that I was able to use my navigation system instantly. I loved how he encouraged questions and did not rush me at all. Lets just say my experience with Honda was horrible until I came to Honda Tenafly. As soon as I got there I saw a car that I was interested in and the salesman Herbie came out to help me. I had already done my research on the Fit before the visit, but Kristen was still able to show me a few things about the car that I did not know and have proven useful in the short time I've owned the car. From test drive to signing took about 30 minutes. There was very little back and forth or hassle, and within minutes we had a deal that was acceptable to everyone involved. Everyone involved with the process was extremely nice and genuinely enjoyed working there. That is a rarity in any business let alone a car dealership. We had never purchased a new car before -- ours were always used and bought privately with cash. Herbie was terrific -- friendly, professional and not pushy. I wound up falling in love withe the Honda Element and after a test drive, we purchased a 2010 demo model off the showroom floor. Herbie made the whole transaction understandable and doable. We were thrilled to be able to drive our new car home two days later. He dealt with the department of motor vehicles, our insurance company and the financing.
