My wife and I visited D&C Honda after seeing an '09 CR-V that was within our price range. Upon arriving at the dealership we were greeted by Herbie, informed him of the situation and he promptly got th CR-V that was within our price range. My family has been buying Hondas (up until now Civics) from D&C Honda (now Honda of Tenafly) for many years. However, my Civic was a 1999, so it's been a while since I was car shopping. I'd decided I want from D&C Honda (now Honda of Tenafly) for many years. However, my Civic was a 1999, so it's been a while since I was car shopping. I'd decided I wanted a little more safety this time around, so I was planning on buying either a CRV or a Subaru Forester. While bringing my Civic in for servicing, I stopped by the showroom and was greeted by Herbie. He showed me the CRV and then went with me for a test drive. Herbie was very professional but friendly, very knowledgeable about Hondas and the CRV, and made me feel very welcome. A week or two later, I had a much worse experience at a Subaru dealer -- pushy salesperson, not as great a vehicle. Based on what I'd seen, I decided that you got more car for your money with the CRV. After leaving Herbie a phone message on his day off, I went back to Honda of Tenafly this past Saturday (Honda Sales Day!). Herbie was great! We went for another test drive, looked at various options, and finally settled on a 2012 CRV. I really felt that Herbie was looking out for me the buyer, not just trying to make a sale. I got a very good deal on my new car and will definitely send any friends/family interested in a Honda to Herbie in the future. More

My son & I came in on Saturday and Herbie came out and showed us around. He listened to me when I asked questions and was very helpful. I took a test drive and found the car was VERY nice. I could not believe I was ready to buy it then - the ONLY car I looked at. I went to another place and was not happy at all - VERY PUSHEY. I wanted to make sure the car was still available, so I called Herbie back on Monday, but he had been out sick. I spoke to Jerry and went in to see him that night and bought the car. He was also very helpful and nice. I was to get the car either Thursday night or Friday. On Wednesday morning my car was having a breakdown & was afraid to drive it anywhere. As luck would have it Jerry had his cell number on his card and I had to call him at 7:30 AM, to see if I could get the car that day. I picked up my car that afternoon! That was about the best experience I could have ever gotten from sales people. THANKS TO HERBIE & JERRY. I will definetly recommend you both to everyone. More

We are very happy that we did, Herbie asked us what we were looking for, gave us our options, and it was just very reasonable. At no point did we feel pressured to buy. Easily this was the best buying experience we've had, and we're looking forward to doing business with him in the future. More
I initially went to DC honda to see the new 2013 Accord, as soon as I walked into the dealership i was greeted my Herbie. Still having 4 months left on my lease I wasn't expecting to walk out with a new car as soon as I walked into the dealership i was greeted my Herbie. These 2 guys at DC Honda were very helpful and were not pushy, like most of other dealers who try to rip customers off and take advantage of their being naive.
