I was on the market to lease a new Honda. I have never leased a vehicle and every car buying experience I’ve had in the past was terrible. I did a lot of research on lease deals and dealerships on line and came across Honda of Tenafly on Dealerrater.com. Honda of Tenafly was highly rated and the reviews were great. I called and spoke with Mark Randall and he was very nice. He was straightforward with information and pricing so I made an appointment to see him that evening. When I arrived Mark was helping another customer and he asked Herbie Rosario to help me. Herbie was great. He listened to what I wanted and what was important to me. He did not try to upsell me or give me something I did not ask for. I appreciated his candor and no nonsense style. The pricing Mark provided me over the phone was exactly what Herbie offered me at the dealership. There were no surprises. I started the approval process that night and I was approved by the next morning. When I went back to the dealership to pick up my Civic Mark showed me all of the features on the car and walked me through the rest of the process. Raymond Gesell the Finance Manager reviewed my paperwork and finalized the deal. He was also a pleasure to work with. In sum, Honda of Tenafly was the best car buying experience I have ever had. this was my first time leasing and then buying a new car. Herbie helped me make the proper selection not just by selling me the car by just telling me what i wanted to hear, but also by explaining everything Herbie helped me make the proper selection not just by selling me the car by just telling me what i wanted to hear, but also by explaining everything and going over the benefit of leasing a vehicle. when it came time to turn the car over at the end of the lease instead of `steering me toward a new lease of a different vehicle Herbie understood my situation and instead of pushing a new car he and Harry helped find a way for me to keep the existing car buy actually turning the lease into a purchase. i am not a bad risk but my credit rating is average and both Herbie and Harry assured me that this can get done and it did. not only was Herbie helpful but also very personable and has remember things that we discussed 3 years ago like the health of my father whom Herbie asks about every time we talk. Herbie does check up occasionally to see if everything is OK. i would not be writing this if Herbie was not helpful and personable and i have recommend him to a couple of freinds and relatives. Herbie's approach was amazing - full of energy, really trying to understand my needs and doing all he can to meet them. Herbie really acted as a trusted advisor and his advises were great. During all the process herbie was super helpful, very friendly and answered promptly to any question or request (and I had many....). Eventually I found my self buying an additional car for my wife...... Bottom line - herbie is very professional, customer oriented and really wants to achieve the best for the customer.
