Service This dealer has really gone down hill over the years. My mom has been doing business with the place since 1993. The staff for the most part is friendl This dealer has really gone down hill over the years. My mom has been doing business with the place since 1993. The staff for the most part is friendly. The service department sucks. I have brought our car to get fixed and they can’t get it right. We had multiple issues with it and they say it’s ready and then when you pick it up it’s something else. They call saying the car is ready and then you go to pick it up and it’s right back the next week. They give you your car back dirty and without gas and both seats reclined. The worst part is that I tell them when they call that I’ll pick it up the next day please make sure it’s clean. A day in advance notice and the car is filthy with grease prints all over the hood, fender, door panel and steering wheel. You think someone would clean it. Two times already I have paid to have to detailed after the south motors visit. If they give you your car back in half xxx condition imagine how they treat it behind the seen. One of the time they suggested a new battery on one I had just bought 8 months ago and I had it checked by 3 other places all stating that it’s perfect. They also told my mom the same thing and I told her to have the dealer change it because they just put a new one in it within the year and all of a sudden they tell my mom the battery is fine. I am going to look at another dealer ship to handle the future services. They call and ask how your experience was and you tell them and nothing is ever done or no one calls. I have given them almost $5,000 in warranty work on just the one car. I am going to go to another dealership. Stay away and if you don’t make sure you look over your car carefully. More

The dealership uses this “pa Beware of the $1200 DEALER ENHANCEMENT PACKAGE” that will be included in your purchase price even if it is not installed. The dealership uses this “package” to inflate the purchase price so that you begin negotiating at the higher price instead of the MSRP. I was told that this package was non-negotiable, that it comes already installed in every car the dealership sells. But these features are not on the car I bought and are not available in the color of my car. I purchased a 2019 Honda Civic here last week. When negotiating the price, instead of starting at the MSRP, the salesperson started with a number approximately $1200 higher. He told me that a second sticker on the car window showed a “dealer appearance enhancement package” that included “designer pinstripes, door guard protection molding and wheel well protection molding.” I told him that the car I was buying did not have these enhancements and I did not want to pay for them. He insisted that this package comes on all the cars the dealership sells and is not optional. When I again pointed out that the enhancements were not on the car I was buying, he said that the dealership would add them. I asked to see a car with “designer pinstripes” and was told that “nobody wants those anymore” and there were no cars to show me. I bought the car. Two days later I returned to get floor mats which had not been provided and again I told the salesman that my car did not have the appearance enhancement package. He repeated that these enhancements could be added if I wanted them. He again dismissed the pinstripes as undesirable and showed me what the protection molding looked like on other vehicles. I told him I did want them installed on my car. This is the first time I was told that these moldings are not available in the color of my car (a bluish color called Sonic Gray) but they could install BLACK moldings if I wanted them. This would ruin the appearance of the vehicle. I would never have purchased the vehicle if it had black moldings on the edges of the doors and above the wheel wells. The dealership has refused to give me a credit for the appearance enhancement package that apparently does not exist for my car. I have spoken to two salespeople (“Billy” and “Jude) as well as a sales manager who returned my call and told me that there was no one above him that I could talk to. They have repeatedly told me that I got a great deal on the car and I didn’t actually pay for the enhancement package anyway (despite the fact that the starting price of the car was $1200 above MSRP). It is obviously a sales tactic to inflate the price of the vehicle. I love my new Honda, but I am angry that the salespeople lied to me and have not provided (and cannot provide) the appearance package it insisted I pay for. More
Yasmina Portas, Carlos Brito & Yuni Garcia: Great, Friendly 12/28/2018 - My wife and I went to buy a 2017 Honda Accord EX, but when we got there the car was sold, Carlos check around and show us a Certified Acc 12/28/2018 - My wife and I went to buy a 2017 Honda Accord EX, but when we got there the car was sold, Carlos check around and show us a Certified Accord Sport same color with black interior, which my wife preferred. He was able to give us a good deal on the price. During the whole process he was friendly and patient. Yuni handle the finance process and also was very friendly, open and make the process to run smooth from beginning to end. Yasmina was the first point of contact and she was very helpful and friendly. I reschedule the appointment several time and she was very patient and friendly during the rescheduling process. I highly recommend these 3 persons to anybody that needs to buy a car. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! More

Scam Alert I am writing this after I fell victim to a bait and switch scam at South Motors Honda. This Sunday I went to turn in my 2016 civic to lease a new CRV. I am writing this after I fell victim to a bait and switch scam at South Motors Honda. This Sunday I went to turn in my 2016 civic to lease a new CRV. Yesterday I find out my lease agreement is for a different car than what they gave me. The vehicle identification number and even color do not match. At this point I don't know if the vehicle is stolen or even salvaged. I contacted the dealer and asked them for a new agreement and they said they would only change the vehicle information. Concerned about their loyalty I contacted another Honda dealer and they advised me I was overpaying. When I asked to re-quote my vehicle they refused. I contacted the GM Jorge Escobar who was very disrespectful and refused to help. I went online and this appears to be a common thing at this location with this GM. I contacted Honda Motors Finance and they advised me that the dealer can not turn in that lease as it is invalid and the dealer has not even paid off my civic. I will make my payments this month but I don't know how or for which car or if my insurance will even cover this vehicle. More

Aldo was amazing! Aldo was awesome! I had a bad experience at the dealership and Aldo fixed everything and more! Not only did he give me the best price on a car that no Aldo was awesome! Not only did he give me the best price on a car that no other dealers in south Florida could beat (9 dealerships) but he gave me excellent service. Their financing department helped me with getting me approved for a car loan and were very friendly. At no time did I feel pressured to buy a car or that I was being deceived. Aldo gave me the best price THE FIRST TIME, there was no back and forth. No other dealer could beat his price, they all told me they would be losing money if they sold me the car. After visiting the 8th dealer, who couldn’t match the price, I was content he gave me the best price. If you’re looking for your next car, I would definitely recommend buying at South Motors. They were awesome and a huge help. Thank you guys for everything! More
What a GM!! HORRIBLE I have leased and purchased in the past with South Motors Honda on 16165 South Dixie Highway in Miami. When I was advised that I was able to drop off I have leased and purchased in the past with South Motors Honda on 16165 South Dixie Highway in Miami. When I was advised that I was able to drop off my lease at that location on Friday I was relieved since I knew my past experience with them. THINGS DO CHANGE... I parked and while I was taking out some of my items that were still in the car, noticed an older gentleman walking around me but never introduced himself or even acknowledged me. Walked in and asked the receptionist to help me see the person in charge for returning my lease. While waiting for that person I was approached by that same older gentleman from outside and was asked if I had taken that lease out originally from there. Note that he has still not introduced himself nor had greeted me in any friendly manner. I stated that this particular lease I had taken out from another dealer but I advised that I have done plenty of business there also but got a better deal at that other dealer this time. He was quick to respond that he is not accepting that car there because his lot is full. I want who ever is reading this to understand it was early in the morning, I was told to take it there, I came in very humble, never gave this person or anyone there a face nor a hard time, but this older person had a bad face, bad attitude, nasty language and after he said he is not letting me leave it there he just left me there standing. Before leaving I asked the receptionist if there is a finance manager I can speak to in that regards and a sales person that was standing there told me that the GM has already made that decision... Wow that older man was this whole time THE GM (General Manager)!!!! I was in shock... on the way back to the car and putting back the license plate on the lease, I saw the GM walk again outside and noticed the same bad attitude but had quickly changed when he greeted and stopped to flirt with a woman that was walking by. I can see that he does greet women. Before leaving I went back in just to get his name and business card to advise the company that told me to drop the car off there would be aware. He didn't want to see me and didn't let anyone bring me his business card. I finally went to his glass door and asked for a second of his time. He kept me there at least for 5 minutes until allowing me to pass. I just asked if I had done something wrong for him to give me that type of attitude and bad gestures. He answered no that it wasn't do to me, but with someone else and that he wasn't receiving my car period. At first he wasn't going to give me his business card but I was already getting heated over the fact that I had not done anything to this man to get this kind of horrible treatment for no reason he gave me his card and I as I was leaving I advised him that he was a HORRIBLE PERSON!! so if he is reading this he can hopefully go back to work and try hard not to be himself and try very very hard and be nice to people. You never know who is that person you are treating like xxxx!! As long as JORGE E. ESCOBAR the GM for South Motors Honda works there in any position my family, friends and myself will not be stepping one foot in that door. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope I saved someones time from meeting this HORRIBLE person!!!!! More
