I booked my appointment for a recall notification as well as my maintenance (A 1 2). I booked this appointment online. When I pulled up and walked in I was greeted by a very agitated female worker. I let as my maintenance (A 1 2). I booked this appointment online. When I pulled up and walked in I was greeted by a very agitated female worker. I let her know I had an appointment handed her my keys. You could tell she did not want to be at work anymore for the day. She removed my FOB and rudely handed me back my key chain. She didn’t say anything except ok. I walked to the waiting area and she then walked over verifying my services booked online. She stated she needed to verify the oil change, air filter, cabin air filter, tire rotation and balance because we, customers, don’t know what we are booking online many times. I let her know that was the required maintenance that my car was displaying. She left. Approximately 45 minutes later another gentleman came to me to let me know my car was done. He stated that they did not rotate my tires because the tread on the front was slightly greater than the back and it would need to be rotated before my next oil change. I went to the counter to pay and was looking over my paperwork. The recall was not listed. I asked about this. The gentleman said that there wasn’t a recall showing. He called someone else over to research and saw that there wasn’t in fact a recall and I did book it however the female that checked me in removed it. Apparently the techs were not available which makes me question who did the service on my car. And since it was the end of the day did the tires not get rotated because the techs were gone and the tread comment was just made up because they were ready to go home for the day. Lastly the service department had two days to call me to let me know that my recall could only be handled from 8 to 4. I would have gladly came in earlier or chose another appointment time block to ensure my car would get all the required maintenance but that was not offered to me. So now I’m traveling out of state and unsure how safe my car is because I feel as if the maintenance was not done properly and the recall was not addressed at all. Now I have to try to fit I in my schedule two additional appointments because there wasn’t any communication to me until I was paying. That is unsatisfactory. Additionally when I did find my car in the parking lot to leave there was trash on my floorboard from what I am assuming was from the packaging of my cabin air filter. I am by far very disappointed with the service I have received at Honda of Slidell from the service department and at this point would not recommend anyone go there. I would rather drive to Gulfport, Covington, or the Greater New Orleans area to ensure my maintenance is completed properly. More
