Took my car in for service. Didn’t know exactly what the problem was. Brian from the service dept assured me my car was going to be taken care of. They found the issue. Fixed the issue. Drop car with intermittent noise Jeric Vergara was our service advisor. We told him about a low volume noise intermittent on and off. The mechanic checked and did not hear the noise. Jeric took the car to wash, and he heard the noise. He asked the mechance to double check and they found out A.C hose leak, then Jeric help us to order the part, and the car is good. I bought my car here in April of 2019 and brought it into the service center in October of 2019 because my check engine light came on. As soon as it was looked at, I was told that not only did I need a whole the service center in October of 2019 because my check engine light came on. As soon as it was looked at, I was told that not only did I need a whole new engine (for reasons that couldn't really be explained to me,) but also that my warranty wouldn't cover it. I knew this was false, so I insisted they check. After three weeks of very little explanation except the accusation that it must be my fault for lack of maintenance (I proceeded to provide them with my very thorough documentation of my perfect f***ing maintenance,) it turns out that my warranty DID cover the problem and that suddenly, I didn't need a new engine anymore. Hmm, how strange *insert major eye roll here*. Not only that, but when my car was returned to me after the servicing done at Honda of Serramonte, it was making a NEW noise. I took it back to them and they told me it was a problem with a part that I knew was NOT the issue and that my warranty "definitely wouldn't cover it this time". I live about an hour and a half away from Serramonte, so I decided to calmly get my car back and never, EVER take it to them again. I brought it to my mechanic who I have trusted for YEARS and who has helped me to maintain cars well past 300k miles and of course, the problem was NOT what they said it was and is in fact likely a result of their actions. So now, I'm looking for a lawyer. Not only was I immediately dismissed as a female car owner, but I was also lied to and misled over and over again. I do NOT recommend buying a car from Honda of Serramonte and I definitely do NOT recommend their service center. I know dealerships don't tend to have the holiest of business practices, but this was the worst service experience I've ever had with any center/dealership/lot/WHATEVER in my entire life. Super disappointed. Avoid this place like the devil himself. More
He is very helpful and friendly I dropped off my car for airbag recall on my Honda CRV. The dealer provided shuttle to and from my home. I have had Teddy Mui as my service advisor many times, and he has always been great. He seems to always have my best interest at heart, seeing if there are any specials I can take advantage of and just going the extra mile for me. 5 stars for sure. And, actually, I haven't ever had a bad experience with any of the other service advisors. But, I like Teddy the best. More
Happy Birthday to Me! I scheduled a routine oil change on my birthday and discovered upon arrival at the dealership that I would again be working with Eric Tom. Although I I scheduled a routine oil change on my birthday and discovered upon arrival at the dealership that I would again be working with Eric Tom. Although I was unable to locate the coupon on my phone, he honored the price quoted on the coupon and even through in a complementary tire rotation because it was my birthday. Eric informed me that my car had a product recall and asked if I had time to have the part replaced which would add another 1-1.5 hours to the service. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised when I received the call from Eric that my car was ready - well ahead of schedule. After I arrived at the dealership, Eric explained the work that had been done, including a free car wash. To top it off, when Eric handed me the invoice with a zero balance due I was overwhelmed. He told me happy birthday and I gave him a big hug. The service he provided was really above and beyond and will keep me coming back to Honda of Serramonte. I asked Eric if I could nominate him for employee of the month! More
