I would like to warn those looking for a vehicle and considering using them to assist with looking for financing. Unbeknownst to me they ran three hard checks on my credit. I went to the dealership spec considering using them to assist with looking for financing. Unbeknownst to me they ran three hard checks on my credit. I went to the dealership specifically to look and test drive a used car for me daughter, and my experience was not positive. I appreciate that I was able to get an appointment within a few hours of me asking. But it seemed that once there, things were not ready, for example the car not in front, and the sales associate was being pulled in several directions. The dealership did not take my time into consideration, and so I would have appreciated setting up another time to look at the car. While test driving I asked the associate about Honda Financing, and he said you would look into it. So, when we were back in the office and reviewing numbers, which the three hard checks to my credit was not appreciated. My understanding is reviewing and not entering a loan agreement. This impacts my credit rating. The interest rates that they came back with were very high and the financers were not HONDA. The third number presented was with Honda Financing, and yes, the number was still high, but at least the interest was not an insane amount. I question why they did not start with Honda when that was what we discussed in the car. I kindly asked the associate that he assists to remove the hard checks. He responded with I am not in finance and will do my best to get an answer. This was over a week ago and crickets. For those reasons please be wary of shopping at this Honda location. More
