I had a recall notice from Honda Corp. on my Odyssey and the General Manager, Skip Strasberger really went out of his way to help me. (I cannot say the same for Honda Corp.!) The owner of the business that I work for is an acquaintance of Dean Palmer, and when he found out that I was in need of a car he was quick to act. I was so tired of searching and comparing and doing the research for so long, that when I called I explained exactly what I wanted, my budget, and that all I wanted was to have someone else do all the leg work for me. And that is exactly what Wilde Honda did. After only 5 minutes on the phone, and numerous questions, they had found my dream car and worked with my budget. I received a call from Kim, the sales representative, who said I could pick up my car only 2 days later. After years of wanting a Honda Pilot, and comparing to used, new, and leased cars, within 3 days I got my dream car. Everyone at Wilde Honda treated me like royalty. They didn't bother with the sweet talking, sales bits I have heard everywhere else I have gone, and for that I think I may be most thankful. When we arrived at the dealership, everything was in order, no surprises, just as nice as could be, and the vehicle was in perfect condition. Next, Jay Alexander (Used Car Manager) was very friendly and helped to come to an agreeable and very fair price for my vehicle in a timely manner. Finally, Joe Doyle (Business Manager) helped the final phase of my car buying experience by explaining all paperwork thoroughly and answered all of my questions. He was very personable and informative. I will definitely recommend this team and dealership to all of my family and friends. Our most positive car buying experience started with a phone conversation with Bob Gregory. His congeniality and positive demenor, plus the car advertised, brought us to the dealership. When we met Bob, he immediately presented the car with an attitude of concern for what we were interested in. We did not feel any pressure, and were at ease discussing the vehicle. Bob introduced us to Ronnie, to discuss final pricing and again we were impressed with his customer relation focus. Then again when we met with Joe, finaliaing the transaction, we again were impressed with the focus on customer relations. At that time I mentioned to Joe how impressed I was with the dealership. I have already recommended Wilde Honda to some of my friends. More
I purchased a 2011 Honda Odyssey from Wilde Honda 1 year ago. It was exactly what I wanted, white, touring edition, with one owner and hadn't been in a wreck, at least that's what I was told. My sales rep ago. It was exactly what I wanted, white, touring edition, with one owner and hadn't been in a wreck, at least that's what I was told. My sales representative also certified the van for me informing me that it goes through a 150 point inspection before it can registered as a certified vehicle. If you look up the certification process, its very detailed and covers everything to make sure that the vehicle is just as sound as it was the day when it was new. Today I'm trading in that same vehicle for a newer model, assuming I'm going to get a good trade in value, when my new sales person at another dealership informs me that this vehicles value is going to be a lot less than what they promised over the phone because it was involved in some sort of an accident although they did a good job to hide it. He lifted the hood and showed me all the evidence of a hit. I was totally shocked!!! To add salt to the wound I contacted Honda America to file a complaint about what had happened and they informed me that the van wasn't even registered as a certified vehicle. So here I am at another dealership now paying the extra money that I saved by purchasing my vehicle from Wilde Honda. If your going to purchase from this dealer I would suggest you have your vehicle inspected by a third party before purchasing it from them. I was directly mislead by the sales representative into purchasing a perfectly good, accident free, certified Honda odyssey. All I got was a heavily depreciated asset that now is going to cost me more. I wouldn't purchase a Honda from this location, look at other dealers, there are plenty of other honest Honda franchise locations that will sell you a vehicle with honesty and integrity. More
