You cannot buy a used Toyota Tacoma in the state of Indiana through a private purchase or dealership as nice as what I got for the price asked. My experience was easy and Brad was patient in answering my questions about both the quality of the truck and how to make it work long-distance. I’m wildly happy with my truck and would consider making another purchase from Wilde Honda Sarasota even though I live 1,000 miles away. Thank you so much Wilde Honda Sarasota!!!! I set an appointment the week prior (cant remember who i spoke with) and didn't end up in the system somehow so when I showed up with my van it was all from scratch. She arranged a ride for me with Ron in the shuttle so I could get to work on time. They performed repairs properly, cleared my SRS light that came on that day out of nowhere, and picked me back up at the end of my shift to get my van. As soon as Bob Gregory answered the phone I knew I was having a completely different customer experience-he immediately provided me with direct, honest, factual answers to all of my questions about leasing a car in my price range. Bob's authenticity prompted me to drive over to Honda where he warmly greeted me, and I was astounded when he showed me that in the time it took me to drive to their location on I-41 Bob had researched all of the Toyota, Nissan, Subaru vs. Honda product comparison questions I had asked over the phone (i.e, cargo space, gas mileage, safety ratings, etc.) and written all of the data of a piece of paper for me to keep. Bob then promptly introduced me to "Dan from Kansas" who patiently demonstrated all of the Honda CR-V features, showed me a variety of color options, took me for a test drive, and introduced me to the finance lead and made completing the paperwork simple and easy for me. Dan has followed up with me several times since leasing my awesome Honda CR-V to ensure I was beyond thrilled with my new car! The reason I am happily driving my new Honda CR-V (not a Nissan, Toyota, or Subaru) is because of the honesty, integrity, kindness, product knowledge, and hard work ethic of Bob and Dan at Wilde Honda of Sarasota! Sales manager lied to our faces. We traded in a CRV and the sales manager low balled our trade in and said “we can’t resell your car, it’ll go go straight to wholesale”. CRVs with similar mileages. He smiled and said there is no way we can get $8000. A week later Wilde listed our Honda on their lot for exactly what the comps showed. Avoid wilde Honda at all costs. We were able to negotiate the entire deal over email within the space of about a week. Tyler's knowledge of the product was exceptional, and he went above and beyond repeatedly, even answering emails and text messages on his days off. We left a deposit with Amy in Reception, who was super helpful. When it came time to pick up the car, everything was EXACTLY as we had negotiated. We spent less than 10 minutes signing papers in the finance department (with Mike Mahlum, who was also great). We stopped by the parts department to look at all weather floor mats. We didn't end up buying any that day, but the woman behind the counter (unfortunately, I've forgotten her name, and it isn't on the quote) got us a printed quote for them in literally no time. Tyler spent plenty of time with us going over the vehicles features, and setting everything up just the way we want it. In short, we could NOT have had a better experience at Wilde Honda, and look forward to doing more business with them in the years ahead. More
