2019 CRV This is the 3rd car purchased at Honda of Salem. They do a good job and facilities are clean. Unprofessional We sent an email to the GM of Salem Honda expressing our dissatification of the service rendered by the dealership. In short, we drove four hours ONE We sent an email to the GM of Salem Honda expressing our dissatification of the service rendered by the dealership. In short, we drove four hours ONE way to purchase a car we saw advertised on CarGuru. We worked with Miguel Lara from the start. We told Miguel we would come up from Medford on Saturday as he said the car would probably sell over the weekend if we waited for better weather to make the trip. We spoke to Miguel on Saturday morning and agreed to make the drive up in spite of inclimate weather so as not to miss out on the purchase. We texted Miguel twice on the drive up to let him know we were on our way. Upon arrival, Miguel informed us the car we were looking to purchase had been sold! He said there was a burgundy model available. We Did Not Want a burgundy car. We asked to speak to the manager. Miguel said the manager could not do anything and walked away, leaving us with a salesman named Stan. Stan was very understanding and helped find another car that was similar to the one we wanted, but it costs a $500 more. Miguel did nothing to help us once we arrived. We dont feel he should be given a cent if commission as Stan did all the work. So.. I am sorry. but we cannot recommend Salem Honda. We felt like we received the "bait and switch" deal. We would like go believe differently, but in all honesty, we don't. We were told the car we were promised was a "loss leader". That may be true, but to have stayed in contact with Miguel to make sure he knew were we literally minutes away, and find he had sold the car earlier that morning, ant not have the courtesy to let us know is VERY unprofessional. More
Bought a 2017 CR-V My husband and I purchased a certified 2017 Honda CR-V from Honda of Salem with 17,500 miles on it on February 17, 2019. We looked at 2017-2019 CR-Vs My husband and I purchased a certified 2017 Honda CR-V from Honda of Salem with 17,500 miles on it on February 17, 2019. We looked at 2017-2019 CR-Vs and HR-Vs the weekend before and talked with Cesar. After searching diligently at many other dealerships, we narrowed our choice to a certified late model CR-V. We contacted Cesar and said we'd be arriving in 30 minutes and wanted to look at the certified CR-Vs on their lot. He showed us several options and talked us through the ins and outs of certified vs non-certified and all the different warranties available giving clear explanations to our questions. We test drove only one and decided to buy it. Cesar was polite, professional and knowledgeable. We felt like he wanted us to get the car that was going to be the best fit for us and our budget. He was able to get us a good price. We had already checked out prices on Kelly Blue Book and at other dealerships, so we knew it was within our range of a good deal. All the paperwork, financing included, was done quickly and efficiently, first with Cesar, and then the final signing with Matthew. The entire process was pleasant and professional. Thank you, Cesar and Matthew! We definitely recommend Honda of Salem. More

Undercoat and Front guard Service was good, however the loaner car interior was filthy when we got it. Wasn't sure exactly how it worked and Joe helped me understand it better and was friendly and took his time explaining it all. More

Great customer service In this last visit, I thought my appointment was at 1:00 and it actually wasn’t until 2:00.
